after two years, it's been finished. i appreciate the reads. i hope this book made you feel smth.

on a note, the final scene where jimin was speaking to the voicemail was meant to summarize the book into a few words;

"I'll see you soon." --- In the beginning of the story, when the two wanted to see each other.

"i have to." --- when jimin's determination convinced jungkook to meet him.

"We're not over, okay?" --- when both of them saw their mental struggles.

"I love you, okay?" --- self explanatory.

"and I-" --- and jimin says 'say it', like how he'd constantly tried to make jungkook speak in the past, to voice his thoughts.

"you know what I mean." --- When both of them cherish words, through the importance of stories and each other, finding meaning in what they say and write.

"i know you." --- near the ending, jimin finds most of his answers in jungkook.

"and that means everything." --- jimin accepts that not always knowing everything is okay, that knowing whom he loves is enough.

this story had quite a few messages, but the main ones I wish to highlight is for one to not to be afraid of pain so much because the people and things that make us happy are worth the risk.

that sometimes, take things and people for the way that they are --- don't try to find hidden explanations because that itself is a defense mechanism. start looking around you instead of at the ground or at your screens, you'll notice that there's so much that can make you happy.

don't be so worried about the ending, whether it's going to be happy or sad, fuck the subjectivity of it all because that leaves room for more thoughts, thoughts that keep you in your head and prevent you from doing.

do continue to write, but don't be so focused on making sure it's going to work with your ending. Write, publish, and live.

do seek recovery and help, don't let any disorder kill you.

do take risks, do mean what you say. do tell yourself and those dear to you that they are loved.

any criticism or comments are welcome.
