Chapter 47: How's My Babies?

I opened my eyes but only saw black. I was relieved to see Sora, Donald and Goofy were here with me.

"What's this place?" Goofy asked.

"I think we might be in the realm of darkness." Knowing that I've been here before. The second I said that, Sora began calling out in the darkness.

"Kairi! Riku! Irix!" Sora called. There wasn't anyone else here but us. That's when I heard Donald exclaim.

"Who's there!?" Donald demanded. I looked and saw a member of the Organization standing there. It looked like he was holding a white box. Donald ran toward him, but he disappeared, leaving behind the box. "What is this?" Donald picked up the box and opened it.

"Are ya sure you wanna open...that?" Goofy asked. I looked inside. All there was inside was an ice cream bar and a photo. The photo was of Hayner, Pence Olette, Irix, and Roxas. "Gawrsh, it's the gang from Twilight Town. There's Hayner, Pence, Olette, Irix... and, uh...um..." Goofy said.

"Roxas." Sora said.

"You know him?" Donald asked.

"No. The name just popped into my head." He said. How would he know that? The boy that looks like Ven is indeed him but... Wait, Nobodies are used to look like their personas. The place where Ventus is... He's inside Sora's heart! Roxas was Sora's Nobody! That's why I felt the way I did towards him while Irix was still trapped in my heart!

"Same with me. The name just popped up. These 2 are Roxas and Irix and they love each other! Remember her talking about him on the train?" Sora said. Donald looked at the ice cream bar and went to take a bite.

"Are ya sure you wanna eat...that?" Goofy asked. Donald took a bite and shuddered.

"Salty... No... sweet!" Donald exclaimed. That's when the ice cream bar began glowing. Me and Sora opened a new path and found ourselves in the Lanes Between.

"I guess help comes from unexpected places." Sora said.

"Yeah, it does." I said.

"A photo and some ice cream? Hmm. Wonder if they're some sorta clue? And who woulda left 'em for us, anyway?" Goofy asked, wondering.

"Riku?" Sora suggested.

"Ya think?" Goofy asked.

"Just this feeling I got." Sora said. I thought back a little. The aura did match Riku's....

"That's gotta be him!" I exclaimed.

"Look! We're almost there!" Donald said.

"We'll find Kairi, Riku, and I soon."

"Hey, what if the Heartless are back? Me and Piri can't use our Keyblades—that would only help the Organization." Sora said.

"Sora, I don't want to be of any help to those husks, but we have no choice. If we don't use our Keyblades, we can't stop the Heartless from hurting people." I said.

"I guess you're right. Oh! Piri, I meant to say something before, what happened to you're hair?" Sora asked.

"I had Yami cut it." I said. Sora's jaw dropped.

"You told me you didn't trust her!"

"I know but..."

"Why'd ya do that?" Goofy asked.

"I've noticed all this time, Yami being there when I couldn't. She has proven to me I can trust her. Now about my hair, it was too long and it would have let enemies grab me more easily. That and as long as it was, I would have stepped on it." I said.

"That's smart." Donald said.

"It's gonna be weird not seeing you with longer braids." Sora said, half joking. I thought about how I looked now too. I wonder if they'd ever grow back? Although, I still would have a braid once and a while.

"I think I'd look better without them." I said. We headed off to one of the worlds we had been to previously. I suddenly had feeling about my babies. I looked back on Hollow Bastion.

Amara's POV

Well, the Heartless problem was taken care of. I just hope mom and the others were alright. I looked at Kiyoko, who was fast asleep in her cradle. Stitch was beneath the cradle, acting as a guard dog. That's when I heard footsteps, followed by a knock on the door. Believing it was GranGran or Serah, I opened it. Only after opening it too much did I realize it was Xigbar.

"Why, hello there Amara." Xigbar said. I tried to slam the door shut, but he forced it opened and grabbed me.

"GranGran! Serah!" I screamed. My scream woke up Stitch, who started growling. He jumped at him, ready to bite and scratch, but he shot some kind of bubble at him and trapped him.

"Scream all you want! With my sleep spell, they won't hear a thing!" He said.

"Stitch!" The commotion woke Kiyo up and he started crying.

"So, it is true. The Seeress does have two little girls of her own." Xigbar said. My fear became anger when I heard that.

"You leave us alone!" I yelled. He laughed.

"Don't worry. I've been order not to hurt either of you. Not that I would. Can't hurt the bait." Xigbar said. Bait? He pushed me toward her. I picked my sister up and calmed her down. That's when I heard a click sound. I half-turned and saw him pointing one of his Arrowguns at me. He opened a portal, threw Stitch through it and then gestured for me to go in. I realized it now. The Organization was going to use us as bait for mama and, possibly, papa.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked.

"Boss's orders. Saïx also figured your cousin's and mommy's little Nobody aren't enough to lure the Seeress and Keyblade Master to us." Xigbar said. They had Kairi and Irix?! He pointed his Arrowgun at me again. I had no choice but to go through the portal. When I got to the other side, I found myself in a cell.

"Amara?" a voice asked. I turned and saw Kairi and Irix.

"Kairi! Irix!" I exclaimed. They ran to me and hugged me. I was so relieved to see they were safe. "How in the world did you end up here?"

"Axel brought us here." Kairi said. I knew that pyromaniac was bad news. I looked over them real quick and didn't see any injuries.

"They haven't hurt you, have they?" I asked. They shook their heads. That was good. Kiyoko suddenly started fussing again.

"You brought Piri and Riku's baby!?"

"I didn't have much of a choice. They're using us as bait too." I said.

"Riku and Piri had a baby?" Kairi asked. I gulped. Should I tell her?

"Uhhh..." Irix droned.

"I'll tell you, just hear everything before reacting, okay?" I asked. She nodded.

Yami's POV

"THEY WHAT!?" I shouted out, feeling my anger rise. Serah and GranGran just explain to me that Amara and Kiyoko got kidnapped by the organization.

"That man said with an eye patch said he was going to use them for bait." Serah said. Oh hell no! Xigbar better hope he doesn't see my face or I'll tear his apart! He's gonna need another eye patch.

"I'm going to find the entrance to that world!" I murderously muttered and GranGran stood up.

"I'm coming, too!" She summoned her keyblade. "I made a promise to my dear Ansem I would help protect this family. I'm not going to break it now!"

"GranGran, are you sure?" Serah asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, forgive me when I say this but you're..." I trailed off and she shook her head.

"I may indeed be old, but doesn't mean I'm a fragile little flower!" I widened my eyes; she had just as moxy as Piri has. I smirked.

"I like your style! Alright, let's go!"
