Daniel and I walked inside and made the choice to tell the boys and Christina. Of course, it was scary but Daniel and I both discussed that it was best to do so before we left.

We gathered them in the backyard. It was the scariest thing I'd ever have to do. But it only got worse from here.

"Alright so we have to tell you guys something." Daniel said smiling. The five of them got quiet.

I took a deep breath as I grabbed Daniel's hand. He looked down to me and a tear fell from his eye.

"You see-" He started. "Alaska is in trouble as we know and we're leaving tonight. I don't really know where we're going but we have to leave for a couple weeks." His voice shook. "But-"

I cut him off. "I'm pregnant." I said coldly. "And of course it's Daniel's"

Jonah smiled and shook his head in approval. Daniel hugged me and I smiled into his shoulder.

"Group hug!" Zach yelled wrapping his arms around me and Daniel. The rest of them joined. After this final moment of bliss, we were bombarded with questions. How far along, the gender, and what we were planning to do.

"It's a boy." I said "Well technically they can't tell yet but I have a feeling."

After all the excitement had calmed down Daniel and I went to his room to pack some of his things.

"I know you have a lot of stuff to do here in LA," I started as we entered his room.

"No. I'm coming with you." He said pulling his suitcase out of his closet and opening it on the ground.

"But Daniel you have a career here, and a future and I can't be the one to rip that from you."

He turned around, "You are carrying my child. I'm not letting you do this alone, we're a team now and I love you."

I smiled, "I love you too." I said

-

We walked down the stairs after Daniel packed his things. Everyone was in the kitchen. Christina smiled at me from afar.

"We have to get going." Daniel said as we approached the island in the kitchen.

"How long do you think you'll be gone for?" Corbyn asked.

"Three weeks max," I said. "Please if anyone asks if you've had contact with me say no. You guys don't know who I am. Unfollow me on instagram, delete my number, delete any pictures of me you may have." I sighed. "Just pretend like I was never here."

"We got your back you know." Jonah said.

"I know, but I don't want to drag you guys down with me." I paused. "Just incase, delete everything that may lead to you ever knowing me."

The room went silent for a moment. I started crying. Everything I had built here, every friendship and relationship is now fading. In reality I knew I wasn't coming back the time I had spent here in Los Angeles was coming to an end.

"You are coming back right?" Zach asked furrowing his eyebrows together.

I smiled, "Of course I am. I'll see you guys in a few weeks."

Daniel and I said our goodbyes. And as I was about to walk out of the door I looked back. The five of them stood around the island with remorse on their faces. Jonah and I made eye contact for a moment. And he let a tear fall from his eye. He wiped it away quickly before anyone noticed but I did. And he knew I did. He shot me a toothless smile and I turned around and walked out.

Daniel put his bag into the trunk of my car and got into the passengers seat. I started the car and made our way to my apartment so I could pack my things.

As we made it to the apartment it felt like nothing changed. It just felt like Daniel and I were going on a road trip. And maybe he was doing this because he knew the how stressed I was and what I was going through, or maybe he was doing it to make himself feel better as well.

"I'm going to make a playlist as you pack." He said as I unlocked the apartment. We walked in and Daniel shut the door behind us.

He stopped walking and typed away on his phone. I turned around and examined him for a moment, he didn't seem scared or nervous or anything. He was just normal Daniel right now. A moment passed, and during that moment I broke. Everything that could go wrong went wrong, and the endless possibilities that could ruin Daniel are endless.

I didn't deserve him, and I knew it. Terrible people like myself don't deserve the love and affection from someone like Daniel Seavey. He's too good for this world, Daniel is kind and lighthearted. He is supportive and caring. Daniel is everything good.

I slowly grabbed his phone from his hands and broke down in his arms. I didn't think so many tears could fall from my eyes. Instantly, Daniel wrapped his arms around me and rubbed my back.

"It's going to be okay Alaska. I promise I won't let anything happen to you."

"I'm not worried about myself Daniel." I said into his chest. "I'm worried what'll happen to you."

Daniel sighed. "I know but we're a team and you aren't getting rid of me."

"My parents, they're crazy and I don't want you to get the wrong idea about me. My family, we're different then a lot of other families. Most of the time It's like we aren't even family. My parents see that I'm threatening their image. So they handle it like this." I said parting from Daniel's grip.

"As long as I'm here, nothing it going to happen to you. I'm not going to let them hurt you." Daniel said, I could tell he was getting desperate.

"I don't know what I did to deserve you."

"Want to know what you did?" Daniel asked. "You spilt coffee on my white shoes. And I instantly fell in love with you. We've only been together for so long but I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Daniel said running his fingers through his hair. "I've been waiting to give you this." He said as he plunged into his backpack.

"This isn't a proposal right?" I said panicking.

"No," He laughed as we pulled out a box. "My dad gave this to my mom when they were our age. It's a promise ring," Daniel opened the box. "My mom wore it on a chain to keep it closer to her heart."

"Oh my god." I whispered as Daniel pulled out the necklace and put it around my neck.

"My mom gave it to me when we went to Portland. She thinks you're the one, and I think the same thing."

I touched the ring. It was gold with a small yet beautiful diamond in the center. Daniel kissed my forehead and smiled.

"Go get packed now, we should really get going." He said.

"Okay mom." I said sarcastically as I walked into my room.

I quickly packed a bag with everything I could possibly need and rushed out of the apartment. This was the beginning of the end.
