I sighed as I looked at my phone, realizing what time it is.
First day of school.
At my new school.
Midtown Highschool of Science and Technology.
I got out of my bed, and walked down the hall into the bathroom. I threw my hair into a bun, looking in the mirror.
God I look like crap.
I turned on the sink, and wet my face.
Grabbing my cream face wash, I applied a small amount to my face, and rubbed it on my face.
After I rinsed my hands, I dried them with a towel from the counter.
I groggily walked back to my room to grab my phone and get dressed.
Yesterday, I already picked my outfit, so I could sleep in more. Clearly I need more, though.
I'd chosen black jeans, a T-shirt, and a green bomber jacket.

I let down my hair, and grabbed my bag.
I noticed the pile of fabric under my bed, and I froze. I sighed, and threw it in my backpack.
I shut my door, and made my way over to the kitchen to find my mum and sister.
"Morning, shitface," My sister, Madi said to me as I walked in.
I flipped her off and rolled my eyes as I went to the fridge to grab some orange juice.
My mum laughed atat5 us, knowing we were joking. Well, we kinda were.
The three of us have always been pretty close. We pretty much talk about anything. Except, each other's sex lives. That, we don't speak of.
Anyways, my dad left not long after I was born. I always blame myself, but my mum says it was never my fault. My mum's had the occasional boyfriend, but nothing ever stick.
Madi's in her second year of law school, and is dating this super nice guy, Charlie.
We moved her a week ago from Westchester, and now, we live in Queens.
Luckily for me, I haven't missed a lot of school because it only started two weeks ago.
I'm 17, so it's my junior year.
"Madi, can you give me a ride to school?" I asked, sipping my juice.
"Sure. We're leaving in a couple minutes."
"Ok, thanks."
"You staying out late tonight?" My mum questioned, as she sat down at the table.
"Yeah, if that's ok."
"It is. Just be careful."
"You know I will," I smiled. "Bye, love you. I'll be back around 11?"
"Sounds good."
I put on my shoes, and went out the door with Madi.
~~~
"Thanks for the ride, bye!" I called as I ran out of the car.
I looked up at my new school. I couldn't help but smile to myself, wondering if I'd fit in.
Haha, funny. I would never fit in. Only at my last school, and this is nothing like that.
There's no one here like me. I can feel it.
As I walked towards the doors, people would push my shoulders, and not even bother to say anything.
Dickheads.
I groaned ion frustration, and tried really hard not to trip on the way in.
My schedule said my locker was somewhere near the back of the school, so I used my map to guide me.
So far, it seems like any other high school. I fund my locker, and squeezed past a couple hat were making out.
Gross.
17, 6, 20.
It opened on the first try, which is a relief.
First period for me is Spanish and my second is Chemistry, so I kept those textbooks in my bag, and put the rest inside.
Some guy opened the one beside me, talking to his friend.
"Sorry, I can't. I've got something tonight."
"Another hookup? Come on, man. You can't keep doing this."
"No, no it's not like that. And it's not that."
"Oh, it's that."
"Yep. Believe it or not, I'm still the same as I always have been."
That's all I heard before they started to walk away.
"Shit, sorry," I exclaimed, as I bumped into someone.
"It's good. You new here?" The girl asked, while picking up her book.
"Um, yeah. Is it that obvious?"
"A little. Michelle Jones, but my friends call me MJ," She reached out her hand to shake mine.
"Y/N Parker," I smiled, taking it.
"Parker? Hm."
"What?"
"Oh, nothing, I just know a Parker."
"Oh, ok. Do you know where Ms Ravola's Spanish is? It's my first period."
"Can I see your schedule?" I nodded, and handed it to her.
"Cool. We have Spanish, Science, and PE together. Come on, I'll walk with you."
"Ok, doesn't sound that bad," I laughed.
"Eh, it's alright."
On the way to class, Michelle told me all the basic things I should know, like where the bathrooms are, and exits are, which teachers get pissed off easily, who the major 'bullies' are, and the players.
We walked into the classroom just as the bell rang, and sat down at one of the tables in the back.
"Ok, class, we have a new student joining us here today. Ms Parker, care to introduce yourself?"
"Uh, no thanks. I'm good."
"That was not a question, Ms Parker," She glared at me.
"I'm pretty sure you just said, and I quote, 'Care to introduce yourself?' That's a question, if you didn't know."
"You're going to be a fun one, aren't you?" Ms Ravola fakely smiled.
"We'll see," I rolled my eyes.
"Nice for you to finally join us," She said, completely ignoring me as a boy walked through the door."
"Not really," He mumbled, sitting down next to his friend, I'm guessing.
It's the locker guy. Great.
"Who's that?" I whispered to Michelle.
"Oh, that's the other Parker. Peter Parker."
I watched as he quietly sat with his arms across his chest, with his jaw clenched, and brown curly hair draping over his forehead.
He looked over, his dark brown eyes meeting mine, and smirked.
I rolled my eyes, yet again, and turned my head towards the teacher who was snow giving a lesson that no one was listening to.
