Looking out of the window, admiring the surroundings, the beautiful nature. A sea of thoughts came to her head. What happens now? Driving up the small mountain, on a slightly bumpy road, on their way towards what they would soon be calling home. With the hope of staying there, on the small cliff side, in the small campervan, with the 2 people currently sitting in the same car as her. She hoped, with everything in her, that they would be able to stay there, not having to pack up and leave, not having to face the world that has now become a war zone and to be out of sight of the media. Once was more than enough, and another wave of blame being thrown her way. She knew, they both knew, that she couldn't go through that again, never.

With Maisie in the backseat, and Claire by his side. He couldn't get his mind to think straight, were they back together? Driving off with a ten-year-old girl they met, less than 24 hours ago. It seemed like a dream. Not sure if a bad or good, but he didn't want to wake up. With Claire by his side, he would stay in the worst nightmare imaginable.

Tired and sad. Slightly terrified of what comes next, and now that she thinks about it, extremely hungry. She misses her grandpa, she thinks about her memories with him, trying to block out the scary thought that keeps coming back. Was she really a clone? How could she be? It doesn't make any sense. she turned her head from the window, to the front seats. Claire and Owen. They seemed like good people. They took her with them even tho they knew what she was. They told her they were going to their new home, whatever that means. She just wanted to get away, from it all. Her whole world had crumpled in a matter of days, and she was scared. No screw that, she was terrified.

"Only 10 minutes left, sweetie" Claire says. She's looking at Maisie and giving her a reassuring smile. Ten minutes left, she thinks. A whole new chapter of her life has just started. It's not a chapter you would ever dream of. I mean who could have predicted all this. How could anyone have known, this would happen. But then again, how could anyone have let this happen.

After a couple of deep breaths, a couple of looks her way and a few smiles from the two people in the front seat, they were here. Slowing down in front of a wooden structure next to what looks like a campervan. Owen brings the car to a stop and shuts off the engine. She sees him throwing a look in Claire's direction to give her a smile. When they met, Claire introduced Owen, as her friend. To be honest with herself, she doesn't know if she believes that. But what these two generally nice adults, mean to each other is on the very end of her list of concerns at the moment.

Claire opens the car door and gets out. She looks around for a second, taking in the fresh air. She turns 90 degrees and opens the passenger door on her side. "Come on sweetheart, it's okay" She tells Maisie as she motions for her to get out of the car. Claire throws a glance in Owen's direction, to find him already looking at her. With Owen, it's more often than not that he's starring more than looking, especially when it's at her. She noticed long before the park shut down, long before they even went on their first date. He had this look in his eyes, and a slight curve on his lips, not sure if she could call it a smirk, or just his way of looking at her. She didn't mind it, in fact, every time she found him with that look on his face, she could feel her insides melt. He just had this way about him.

She squinted her eyes at him and tilted her head before asking "What?" with the small grin on her face, that she often had around him. That man.

He doesn't say anything, just lets out a small chuckle and starts making his way towards the van. The van that they're supposed to call home now. She never liked the idea of living in a small box like that. One of the big reasons they split up. She didn't understand the appeal, but it would have to do for now, until Owen finishes the house he's currently working on. And when she thinks about it, the van is the best solution at the moment. People will be looking for someone to blame, and since she was involved with yet another dinosaur disaster, the media will come looking for her.
