The tiny bells chimed above the door upon my entrance into the small convenience store. My legs immediately brought me towards the first aid aisle. It was only a few shelves full of first aid the rest was food and drinks.

After scanning the aisle I picked up bandage dressing and antiseptic cream. This should do for now I thought. I would need stitches later but It shouldn't be too long till my next destination if things went according to plan.

Grabbing a packed sandwich, I made it towards the till. A teenage girl stood behind the counter with blonde hair tucked behind her red cap that matched her uniform.

I made a conscious effort to keep my head down. She seemed bored and uninterested as she scanned the items. A display to my right held hats and sunglasses, that instantly caught my attention.

I placed one of the black caps and a pair of sunglasses on the counter while she continued to scan. After telling me the price I brought out two twenties from my back pocket placing it on the counter.

"Keep the change," I said. As I was about to leave I heard the bells ring again, in walked a man in a leather jacket and dark jeans.

I scanned his face, he had brown eyes with pale skin and a mop of brown curls on his head, he seemed to be only in his late twenties. His arm caught my attention as he pocketed what looked to be car keys in his jacket's pocket.

Now I know stealing is wrong and all..but I needed a car. There was no getting around without one and I didn't really feel like breaking into one either. Realising my opportunity I walked towards the exit, on my way I tripped over my own feet bumping right into him.

I heard a grunt as he took the impact of my body.

"Oh God! I'm so so sorry," I said making my voice sweeter than usual.

"Dammit! can't you see where you're going" he barked as his forehead creased with annoyance.

I pretended to try to straighten myself up by pulling at his jacket.

"Stop, just stop" he spoke clearly annoyed with me, before grabbing my elbows and pulling me up.

I used the contact as an opportunity to snake my arm into his pocket while my other arm pulled at the same shoulder making it look like I was trying to balance myself.

At this point, it probably looked like I was latching onto him. After having a secure grasp on the familiar metal I clutched it into a fist after retrieving it.

After having gotten what I wanted I immediately straightened up sidestepping him.

"Sorry once again" I apologized not even looking at his face before making a beeline for the door.

Frustration bubbled inside of me, I frowned, that was one of the most annoying things I've done. I cringed once again at the thought of how I must have looked basically on top of him.

I left the store walking out onto the parking lot that had a few cars littered around the place. After moving around while clicking the car remote I finally found it's owner. A black Honda saloon sat in the far back. It didn't seem to be too run down, in fact, It was one of the better cars in this whole place.

I made my way towards it. I moved fast, unlocking the car and setting my things inside. After quickly packing away my things I ripped the tags off the cap before putting it on.

To my surprise the interior was black synthetic leather and the inside was relatively clean, after running the engine I checked the tank, It was barely half full. I shrugged, there should be a gas station nearby.
