[The rest of the world blurred as I ran.
My heart thudded as my legs strained to keep running. Why was I running in the first place?, I wondered to myself as I just kept on accelerating. I spotted a shadow behind me and this motivated me to not give up.
How long had I been running? Trying to evade the mad man at my back? It seemed like ages ago I had sported a fine bed.
Through dark alleyways and endless turns, I realized I had moved a great distance, but my displacement was nil.
I was back to where I started.
Then and there, I finally just plopped on the ground from exhaustion and let defeat swim over me.
The Shadow finally spoke after the long silence, "You can't keep hiding from me forever. " ]
