Young Phantom of Justice *Adopted by friking-awsom-kitten

Before we start

Some things to fill the 3 years time skip :
- Jazz went to college but tries to talk to Danny as often as she can ;
- Tucker graduated early and went to some college for geniuses, mostly 'cause of his parents ;
- Sam's parents, apparently, are the only people in Amity Park with some common sense and decided to move to England ;
- both of them were totally aganist it, but eventually had to move on and they're keeeping in touch with Danny ;
- Valerie became more distant because she didn't want Danny to get hurt and because of ghost hunting ;
- Danny is now strong enought to protect the town by himself, though some ghost still give him a hard time ;
- Danny and the ghosts became more friendly over time but some of them still want to kill him;
- Box Lunch is 1 year old and sometimes Danny babysits her ;

By the way :
- in this fic, Danny is 17 and the last years of being a superhero made him more mature ( but he's still the sassy ol' Danny ) ;
- Danielle doesn't exist, thought Vlad did try to clone him (sorry Dani fans) ;
- Sam and Tucker weren't there at the first Accident but they found out before Mistery Meat ;
- Jack and Maddie are caring and loving parents even if they're clueless thank you very much ;
- Valerie still works for Vlad ;
- English isn't my native language and this is my first story, so constructive criticism is welcomed ;

Headcannons I'll be using :
Danny - is actually a genius but he thinks he's stupid because of his grades ( really, he could actually build/improve/invent some real tech) ;
- has mild ADD, mild autism, PTSD, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, sleep deprivation, eating disorders, bad self-preserving instincts and terrible self-care (I said it once and I'll say it again : SOMEONE PLEASE PROTECT HIM !!!) ;
           - hadn't cried since he was 7 and holds all his emotions inside (which is really unhealty) ;
- had freckles but they faded when he was 12, though you can see them only really close ;
- has some very flexible hair (seriously, you can make any hairstyle with it) and thick eyebrows ;
- is ambidextrous (he uses both hands)
- has some edgy tastes ;
- is picky about food ;
- is really good with kids ;
- can cook but never does ;
           - was born prematurely and on accident ;
- can draw really well ;
           - can sew pretty well ;
           - has stereotypical girl hand-writting ;
- is really OP but has no idea ;
- is the youngest from the trio ;
- is an atheist raised non-religiously ;
- the Accident happened on his birthday on the first day of school ;
  - his ghost form is slightly diffrent than his human form (as Phantom he is taller, tanner, more muscular, while, as Fenton, he's shorter, paler and way too skinny);
           - had a pretty sucky early childhood because, while his parents love him, they tend to be neglective and sometimes abusive while, somehow, still overprotective, and, while Jazz takes care of him from time to time, she's still just an introverted bookworm only 2 years older than him ;
- the closest thing he had to an adult role model is (was ) Superman ;
            - is a mix of Native and Korean from Jack's side and half Irish from Maddie's ;
- is an demisexual biromantic non-binary (assigned female at birth, is fine with any pronoun) but tries to pass as a boy to avoid more bullying and be comfortable ;

Ghosts aren't actually spirits of the dead. Since the Ghost Zone and our world are conected, and ectoplasm is an odd substance, before the brain shuts down, it emits one more electrical impulse (idk if this happens in real life but just roll with it). Sometimes, that impulse is projected in the Ghost Zone,thus creating a ghost core. Depending on what that last impulse was, the ghost that is formed can be the person/animal that died or an idea/myth( obsession ). Ghosts can do anything as long as it fits that obsession.
Vlad is actually more human than ghost since he was contaminated only partially with impure ectoplasm.
Danny is the only "true" halfa since his DNA was exposed all his life to ectoplasmic radiation and the Accident only activated his already mutated genes. When he goes ghost, the ectoplasm in his DNA is suddenly activated, turning him into a ghost(thus, the white rings). Also, when he changes back, the ectoplasm becomes inactive . When he's using his powers in his human form, the ectoplasm is activated partially. Over time, Danny learned how to deactivate his ectosignature and go undetected, but then his powers are deactivated as well. When he's injured, ectoplasm is involuntary activated to heal the wound.
   Because ectoplasm entered an already existing body, halfas don't have obsessions.
