"So, turns out it was Vlad Plasmius, my arch nemesis," Danny began telling Robin and Wally what happened last night. "Basically he wants to get rid of my dad, marry my mom and have me as his son. The guy's a sucker for love."
"Wow. That must be really rough." Wally comented.
"Yeah, it is. The guy then started lecturing me on how he raided some GIW bases looking for me and monologing like a cliche villain, and then we started fighting. Of course, I won, but that jerk ruined my binder !" Danny continued frustrated, then realize what he said and quickly glanced panicked at the other boys.
    "Binder ? Why would you need a—oh. Oh !" Wally began to realize.
    "So, you're ..." Robin began.
      Danny nodded, avoiding their gaze. I mean, these guys have seen some pretty weird stuff, sure, but this was a diffrent kind of weird.
     "... in need for a new binder ?" the Boy Wonder finished, surprising Phantom.
     "What ?"
      "Dude, he basically offered you a new one. And, trust me, you can't say no. He's really stubborn." Wally said.
     "B-but, aren't you weirded out that I'm trans ?" the ghost boy asked confused.
     "Oh, please. We're a team young superheroes, consisting of Batman's prodigy, the fastest kid alive, an atlantean, a kryptonian, a martian, an annoying archer, and you think a trans boy will be too much to handle ? Honestly, you're underestimating us." Wally waved off.
     "Now, what's your size ? Do you have any preferences ?" Robin asked.
     Danny gave them a warm smile as he started giving the boy the information he needed.

Danny didn't spend much time around other leaguers. He prefered the company of other teenagers.
    Actually, the adult superhero he spend time with the most was Batman.
    So, it wasn't surprising when the ghost boy found himself yet again hanging out in the Cave.

   "Pssst. M'gann." Artemis whisperd, forgetting about the martian's telepatic powers "Do you have any pads for the monthly girl thing ?"
    "Sorry, I don't think so. Martians don't go through this."
     "Here." Danny tapped the blonde's shoulder "I always have some extra ones with me."
      Artemis gazed skeptically from the albino to the pads he was offering.
     "You, a boy, just carry around girl pads ? That's not creepy at all."
     "Uh, yeah, well, you see, I'm not really ... cis."
      The archer furrow her brow in confusion, the her eyes widened in realization.
     "Wow, uh, really ? You didn't seem that type of guy. Not in the bad way, of course, I totally support you."
      "What does he mean ?" M'gann asked curious.
      "Oh , well, since you're from Mars, I don't think you heard of the word 'transgender'. Not with all the  erasure from media ." Danny rubbed the back of his head, trying to explain the best he could "You see, not everyone's comfortable with their assigned gender at birth, so we try and change it ourselves, but it's usually frowned upon and many people are still struggling to be accepted. People like me."
        To everyone's surprise, M'gann's confused look shifted to one of understanding.
        "It's okay. I know how you feel. You can always count on me for support."
         "You can always count on us for support" Artemis joined in.

"Ugh, come on !" Danny growled frustrated with his new binder halfway through. Getting it off wasn't a problem anymore, not since the Accident, but he couldn't say the same for putting in on.

After chasing some ghosts in the sewers, the ghost boy really needed a shower. While the dirt was easily removed through intangibility, the same couldn't be done for the smell and, since all the water from Fentonworks was contaminated after another experiment gone wrong, the only place left was the Cave.

"Phantom ?" a familiar voice sounded from behind the bathroom door "I heard you struggling. Do you require assistance ?"
"Uh, no thanks, Kaldur. Wait, actually I do. Can you please come in here ?"

Danny turned his back as the atlantean entered the bathroom.

"Could you please help me put my binder on ?"
Confused but obedient, Kaldur helped his den mother pull on the rest of his binder.
"Thanks."
"The pleasure of helping the ones in need is mine, but what do you need this ... 'binder' for ?
"Uh, well, ..." Danny picked his words carefully. The atlanteans might not have the same concept of gender idenity as humans, so he might need to explain it. " ... some people don't really feel comfortable with their gender, so, we try to, like, become another one,you know what I mean ?"
Kaldur nodded.
"Yes, I do know what you mean. But I didn't know that land dwellers also have gender-shifters."
"Yeah, we're only recently getting acknoleged."

Phantom collapsed on the couch.
"I need the bitterest and darkest coffee that you have ASAP." the ghost boy mumbled tired.
"That bad ?" Black Canary asked, standing behind the kitchen counter.
"That bad." Danny confirmed.
Chuckling, the blonde poured some coffee into a mug and walked towards the teen leaguer.
"You know, we though that by putting a teenager in charge of other teenagers will cause us more stress, not you."
"Well, that's not gonna happen with these teenagers." Danny took a sip. "Although now the waters are calm between us, that doesn't mean that they can't still give me a bad day." He took another sip. "And my period isn't making things easier."
"Wait, period ? Is this a ghost thing or ..."
"The monthly-girl-period thing. It doesn't affect the ghost form, save for the strong emotions.
"Oh. Oh. OH ! I know just the thing. Stay right here, young man."

"Uh, hey, Superboy. There's something you should know." the ghost boy said as he nervously rubbed the back of his neck.
    
      The kryptonian turned away from the static, raising his eyebrow at his den mother.
       "Yeah ?"

      There it goes. He already told everyone else on the Team and they accepted him. Superboy shouldn't be any diffrent. Besides, he has the right to know.

     "Well, you see, the rest of the Team already found out, and we're all friends here, so ..." Danny paused, sucking in a breath. "... I'm transgender. Meaning I wasn't borned the gender that I'm feeling right now."
      "Okay, so ?"
      "Uh, that's it. That's what I wanted to tell you."
     "Alright." Superboy said as he turned back to the TV.
      "Wow, that's ... an unexpected reaction."
       "Does it matter ? You are still our den mother and my friend."

      "Phantom." Batman called.
       "Uh, yea-yes ?"
       "Did any member misgendered you since you joined the Justice League ?"
        "N-no. I mean, I'm passing, right ?"
        "Yes. I just wanted to make sure."
        
         "So, Robin told you, huh ?"
          "Actually, it was quite obvious, for me, at least."

    Btw, should I start the one-shot book straight off with DannyxSuperboy ?
    I have many ideas and I don't know witch one I should start with.
