After thirty nerve-racking minutes, Yosano finally opened the door and had let them come in. Dazai quickly made his way inside and went to his old-partner's side.
Chuuya is covered in bandages. His head, his arms, his feet. He almost looked like a mummy except for his unbandaged face and other parts.
Dazai gently held the fragile boy's hand and bit his lower lip. "Chuuya..." Dazai called his name in a soft whisper but he could taste a bittersweet feeling in saying it. He could feel the guilt rushing through his veins as he look at Chuuya's state.
The others stood a few feet from Dazai and the unconscious ginger-head, watching, some feeling pity for the poor lad.
Yosano walked up to Dazai, leaning on the bed post and crossed her arms over her chest.
"He had five broken ribs, an internal bleeding, organ failure, and a concussion. I'm still surprised he was able to last that long in that torture chamber you so-called 'interrogation room'." Yosano informed and it seemed like all the colors in Dazai's features vanished. He turned pale and looked horrified at the information.
Dazai was sitting beside the unconscious boy, holding his hand tightly in a worried manner.
"I was able to heal it all," she said, glancing at the male on the bed who has an oxygen mask on and is connected to a heart monitor.
Dazai seemed to turn cold. "They say that everything a person says before the word 'but' is all b*llsh*t." Dazai said, turning serious. "Cut to the pace, doc. What's wrong with him?"
Yosano seemed to be shock at Dazai's sudden change of attitude, and so were the others, but remained calm and did her best to understand his situation before sighing.
"There's some-sort of poison in his system that I can't remove." Yosano answered, looking straight at Dazai.
