"Happiness is nothing more than good health and a bad memory." - Albert Schweitzer

I was standing infront of the mystical land which was known as my wardobe wondering what to wear.
"I literally have no clothes," I moaned to myself
I had very little time to get ready and even though my drawers and closet were both busting with clothes, I still didn't have any. What can I say? I'm a girl and I quickly grow bored of the clothes I have.
I heard a knock on my bedroom door.
"Come in!" I shouted out, still staring at my closet. I started tearing through all sorts of different outfits and couldn't find anything.
"Are you okay, honey bun?" my mom asked.
"'Honey Bun'" I couldn't help but roll my eyes "I can't find anything to wear"
"Asia, look at your closet, ou can barely fit anything in there, I find it hard to believe you can't find something" she said looking at me like I had just escaped from a mental instuition.
I rubbed a hand down my face out of frustration. Why do I let myself get in this state? If I hadn't of talked to Noah for so long and if I hadn't took half an hour in the shower, I wouldn't be stressed nor would I be worrying about being late.
My mom left my bedroom silently, closing the door behind her.
I tried on various outfits but none really stood out. I decided to start on my drawers. Pulling out a simple pair of skinny jeans and a white tank top, I tried them on. I then moved over to my closet again looking for a navy scarf and my navy pin-striped blazer. For once I could actually find something I needed. I studied myself in the mirror and was satisfied with the reflection.
Making my way over to my vanity, I sat down. My hair was still slightly damp from the shower so I quickly gave it a quick blow dry making it larger then it already was. Sigh.
I decided to apply some make-up. I put some foundation onto my hand and applied it on my face being careful around my eye. I then added some powder along with eye-liner and some mascara. Done.
I stood up from my vanity and made my way over to my school bag, picking out my maths books and homework. Placing them into a seperate bag I left my room and went downstairs to say goodbye to my mom.
I walked into the kitchen and found her making her lunch.
"Twit-tawoo! Very pretty"
"Thanks" I smiled "I should go now, or I'll be late. Could I maybe borrow the car?"
My mom pursed her lips.
"Aw c'mon! It's not like I'll crash it, I'll be super careful and drive any faster than twenty" I said, kissing her on the cheek.
"Fine, fine" I said waving her hand "Just have it back before five"
I squealed, she never lets me use her car!
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I said giving her a tight hug only jump back again from a spasm in my stomach.
"What happened there?" My mom said, studying my face "You're as white as a sheet! Are you okay?"
I dragged in a deep breath and smiled "Yeah, I'm fine. See you,"
My mom followed me out of the kitchen and stopped on the doorstep. I walked slowly down the driveway rubbing my stomach in a circular motion. I climbed into my mom's small Renault Clio and gave her a wave then reversed out of the driveway. I drove slowly up the street until my mom couldn't see me anymore then sped up to twenty five. Rebellious, I know.
