I've been missing school for two days now. Today is Wednesday and everyday I'd pretend to go to school but actually I'd just be hanging on the roof of a random building and just staring at the landscape. As I am right now. I could see the park, the streets and some other random buildings.

Never did I think that Adam would come back, never did I think I'd be doing something like this one day. But it's for the better to teach him and his friends a lesson. My friendship with Adam really affected me, he was my first crush and and my best friend but he broke me apart.

I was such a stupid kid. I believed in love and all that useless crap about true love. I was a hopeless romantic, just waiting for superman to pick me up off my feet and save me, And I thought my superman was Adam. Obviously not! Well it's too late now. It's all bullshit and lies cause love isn't everything and even superman isn't there sometimes to save the day.

Call me pessimistic, I don't care!

The barbecue is on friday and Adam will be there, I'm freakin' sure of it. I only have two more days 'til Operation take down douche-pants is in action. I already got Melissa to help me change my style. Of course she got suspicious and asked me why I wanted to change myself. I just told her it was a change for senior year and she bought it.

I made my way to the coffee shop that me, Sam and Ash always hang it. I promised Sam I'd meet her there.

"Look who decided to show up!"

"Hi Sam, I'm fine thanks for asking" I replied sarcastically. she laughed at my remark.

"So how's Operation take down douche-pants going with you, it's been two days and you still look like the same old Jessica" I laughed at my creativity for making up the name Operation take down douche-pants

"Patience little one, I'm saving it for Friday"

"Didn't Melissa get suspicious when you asked for her help?"

"She did but I told her that I was tired of my old wardrobe and wanted a new look for senior year. She bought it though"

"Thank god, oh and speaking of friday, you're still coming to Lukes party right?"

"You forgot didn't you?" she asked with a serious face.

"Sam I'm sorry I swear, I just can't and now I have the Adam thing going on"

"Jess your taking this way too seriously"

"Too seriously?" I asked. I cannot believe her of course I would, she of all people should know how I feel. "Did you forget what he did to me Sam? Let me give you a flashback, he laughed at me, humiliated me and left our friendship for his popularity. Tell me I'm taking this too seriously again."

"Okay, Okay I'm sorry but you can't let Luke down, plus I know you have a thing for him. I can sense it don't tell me you don't." I did maybe have a tiny little thing for him but he's in college plus he's already dating someone, I think.

"Alright fine I'll try, but you owe me big time. Both of you"

"Alright,Alright fine, I gotta go now. Call me later" I nodded at her and she left.

I left shortly afterwards and walked back home considering the fact that I didn't take my car. ugh. I got home and no one was there, Shocker. Ever since Melissa got back she's always with Mason, Dad was always on some business trip and mom always worked late or at some dinner party with her friends. So basically I'm used to being a lone wolf hah!

I really wasn't in the mood to watch a movie or do anything so re-heated a frozen pizza and ate real quick. I went back upstairs and called Samantha. We had a long conversation consisting of her talking about school gossip and me complaining about Asher always eating all my food. we ended the call at 9 pm and by now I was really tired so I went to sleep.
