Why single?

chapter 6

After the tragic yet funny moment, I decided to ignore people around me and go on with my life. I see you but of course I ignore you. I gave you a death glare the other day when you tried to bully me again but now its seems you stopped doing it. I went passed by and saw you with your boyfriend kissing him desperately and when you notice me your seductive face turns into an angry bird and you whisper something to him.
I ignored you but I smell something fishy.
It's dissmisal but I was asked to go to the library by my teacher. He told me that I need to fix the books properly before I went home. I was assigned to be the assistant of the librarian and its my duty to fix the newly books that arrived yesterday.
The books are so many to fix so I was finished late in the afternoon. It was already dark and I need to go home. I locked the library and headed to the corridor. It was dark and the silents of the corridor shivers me. I walk as fast as I can untill I reach the stairs going down.
I was half way to the exit when someone grabs me and dragged me to the janitors room.
I was afraid and I kept fighting  and I can tell that its a guy. I smell perfume that assumes its for boys. I kept fighting back but he is very strong. His grip is hurting me so I didnt fight back and calm myself.
When he notice that I wasnt fighting back he let go of me and suddenly he switch the lights on.
"your too clumsy" you told me
"shut up. who are you? what do you need?" I told you angrily
You said I will calm down but I have enough of this prank. I was going to open the door when you suddenly told me your name.
"Im Jake"
I sighed and face you giving you the chance to explain whats the matter with him. I gave him a continue explaining look
"I am sorry if I startled you. I am on the corridor and I thought no one is around here late in the afternoon but I saw you went out of the library and I choose to make fun of you" you told me
I sat next to you and punch you in the head without even knowing you that much. You yellped but laugh in the end
"why would you do that? do you know that it is not good to startled others. Are you an idiot" I replied
"I am sorry I saw you walking and I can feel that your afraid."you said
I ignored you and stand up. I told you that I would be better going home because its already dark and very late for a student.
But suddenly you hold my hand
For the first time I felt electricity tingles my whole body. My heart skipped a beat but I felt the fast beatings and tantalizing your touch. I steped away from you that it might not be go well if I let him.
"katherine" I simply said and went out of the room.
I thought you stayed there but when I was in the parking lot you  were at the back.
"can I have a ride?"you told me
I jump of by your sudden show
"ohmyG!!Dont startled me will you?" I yelled
"okay okay...Im sorry..."
I Start my engine and put my helmet on. You suddenly  position yourself and sit  at my back.
"what are you doing?" I asked
"will you mind your own business and just drive" you told me.
How dare you. Your not ashamed even we were not that close.
I ignore you and hit the engine in full speed you catch off guard and hugged me so suddenly. I shivered when you hold my waist.
"Thanks for the ride" you said while you unbuckle the helmet. You hand me the helmet with that sweet smile of yours but I did'nt respond and left you behind and that is our first moment together.
I think your not bad and when I am with you I felt something infatuated. I am afraid that it will cause to heart broken when I let you like I did with my ex bestfriend, Trina.
