Fake You Out

This song is about pretending to be something that you're not. At least in the big picture perspective.
The Song is partly addressed to God which he feels "as close as the closest star" meaning he is very  far away. It's ironic to Tyler Joseph that people use the word close to describe the distance between two stars even if they are not as far apart as some others. He asks himself if God feels this irony too when he describes his relation to Tyler.
It also becomes clear that he does not want people who care for him to worry and pretends to be alright while he is breaking down. Also he does not want to hear what others have to say, because he's afraid of it. He continues with "it's the same game today as it always is" to make clear that he keeps fighting his problems and that his problems don't just go away.
Next he admits that he still has self-destructive behaviors that he hates and that he has to continue fighting them. He claims that many kids this time have the same struggle to figure things out and that they want their minds to be free from fighting their own thoughts.
Up to this point the song is pretty dark but Tyler Joseph gives us the first bits of a solution with saying "Before you walk away, there's one more thing I want to say / Our brains are sick, but that's okay." He means that we are all having these struggle sometimes and that it is totally normal to think this way. And it is also normal that we don't want others to notice our struggle. With his words  " but that's okay" he warns us to not fake out ourselves and  be careful with faking people out too much too.
