My life feels like a movie right now. I had a secret admirer who confessed to me at a high school dance, and now we're escaping to somewhere else. If this isn't a rom com movie, I don't know what is.
Calum and I raced out of the gym, hand in hand and out to his car, a black Jeep.
"Your car is so cool, woah." I said, while he opened the passenger door for me. He laughed.
       "Eh it's nothing."
"Well when you drive a Honda, anything is better." I joked, making him laugh again.
"You're funny Melody." He said, while putting the car in drive and pulling out of the NHS parking lot.
"You know you can call me Mel, right?" I said, looking over at him, his eyes locked on the road.
"I know. I like Melody though. It suits you. You know, you're beautiful." He said, and a grin crept onto his face.
"Thank you." I blushed. "I can't believe I got in the car with you. You could kill me like one of those lifetime movies my aunt watches." I joked.
He threw his head back and laughed loudly. "I promise you I won't kill you. And my mom watches those movies too. They're horrible."
I laughed. He ended up taking me to a pizzeria about five minutes down the road.
"You like pizza?" He asked as we pulled into the restaurant.
I gave him a look that said duh; that made him laugh and we got out, then walked into the pizza place, which was called Big Joey's. We ordered a medium pizza to share, and ended up talking for two hours. I texted Everly to tell her everything and make sure Ashton or Michael could take her home.

Me: Hey Ev, you'll never guess what happened but I'm gonna tell you. Calum Hood is G. And sounds crazy but I left with him and we're at Big Joey's pizza. Don't worry I'm not gonna have sex with him or anything;) and makeAshton take you home

Everly: OH MY GOD AHHEODKEHJ GOOD FOR YOU HAVE THE BEST TIME. Don't do anything I wouldn't do haha

I smiled at my phone and felt so grateful for her. Calum came back to the booth with the pizza and we started eating. We talked about everything possible. School, family, sports, To Kill a Mockingbird. We got some weird looks from people since we were all dressed up but we didn't care.
"So I have an extremely important question." He asked seriously, after taking a huge bite of pizza, which made me laugh.
"What is your favorite Disney movie?" He said it so seriously that I burst out laughing.
"First of all, you're a dork. And second of all, it's gotta be Princess and the Frog. Tiana is badass, I love her. She's a working girl and doesn't let anyone stop her." I told him.
"Hmm okay. Got it. Mine has to be Tangled. Don't know why but I like it." He grinned and I returned the smile.
We proceeded to talk for what felt like five minutes but was actually two hours. I looked at my phone and it said 11:03.
"Oh no I have to be home by 11:15." I frowned. "Can you drop me off at my house?"
He shook his head. "No. You have to walk." He said jokingly. "Of course I'll drive you, come on."
I laughed, stood up and watched as we went to the cash register to pay for the pizza. I offered to help pay since I had some money from working at Hollister, but he said no.
So, we drove home and listened to the radio, and it turns out we both like Ed Sheehan.
Once we got to my aunt and uncle's house, we parked outside and I honestly did not want to get out of the car. I had such a great time. He put his hand on my thigh and my heart fluttered.
"Hey thank you for leaving the dance and your friend and everything." He said.
"Thanks for the pizza." I smiled. "Goodnight."
What I wasn't expecting was that he leaned in and I did too. It was like my mind left my body and someone else was controlling me. But I couldn't help it. I wanted to kiss him. We pulled away after a few seconds and I sat there like a moron, not knowing what to do. Do I get out? Do I kiss him again? Why do I have to be awkward. My cheeks flared up and I felt hot. He smiled at me.
       "Goodnight Melody." He said.
  "Night Calum." I answered.
"Call me Cal." He said with a wink.
