You where the captain of the cheering squad. Jessica, Chloe, and you headed to the field after school. Little did you guys know the football team had practice on a Friday evening.

"You've got to be kidding me. We told the coach we need the field to practice today. Plus they never practice on Fridays" Chile said getting fired up.

"Chloe it's fine we'll just practice on the side lines" you say.

You guys walk over to the side line and put your bags down.

"Y/n watch out" Jessica yells at you.

You turn around and see a football flying towards you. Shockingly you catch it before it can hit you.

"Hey uh I'm sorry about that. Bryce was paying attention to where he was throwing the ball" Zach says grabbing the back of his neck nervously.

"It's fine. It really is." You say handing him the ball.

"Also uh nice catch" he says laughing

"Ayuh thanks" you says laughing.

"Do you want to uh maybe hang out sometime" he asks you.

"Yeah is like to" You say with a smile.

"Okay well uh I'll see you after practice, y/n" he says waving to you as he runs back to the team.

"See you later" you yell over to him and turn around to see Jessica and Chloe with their arms crossed.

"You better tell us every little detail after you guys hang out" Jessica says smiling and laughing.
