As we got back to HQ where Rico was, I saw Kitz Woermann briefing the cadets of the situation and explaining their formations. They all have the same expression on their faces, they were all devastated. Some of them we're trembling in fear.

"Tch." I clicked my tongue in annoyance. "Why must it happen today? It's obvious that they're not ready for something like this, they just came out of training." I thought. "Laila!" I heard Rico calling my name making me turn towards her. I quickly made my way to her and stood in front of her. "You'll be on the Rear Guard with Ian and the others." She instructed.

"I want to be on the Front Line." I said.

"What? Do you want to die?" One of them asked sarcastically, I smirked, "Let's see who'll die first." I teased triggering his anger. "Hey! Stop!" Ian shouted. "This is not the time to argue." He said and gazed at me, "And you Laila, just do what you're told." He said.

"Our main mission here is to let the civilians evacuate safely." Rico said.

Our mission to let the civilians evacuate went well, except when there's someone that they call the "President" blocked the way, while trying to save his things first. Good thing, one of the Cadet handle it nicely, I think her name was Mikasa? I'm not really sure.

After making sure that every civilian had safely evacuated. We we're instructed to retreat and climb back up to the walls. I quickly realized how many of the Cadets are not here yet. I went to Rico that was standing beside Ian and Mitabi, "Rico-san!" I called making the silver short haired woman looked my way.

"Laila, what is it?"

"What's happening? Where's the others? Don't tell me they've all been eaten?!"

"No, I don't think so. Look." She said as she hands me the binoculars. Looking using it, I saw many of the cadets making their way towards HQ, many of them we're grabbed and got bite from the titans.

It looked like hell... no, It has always been a hell, we just couldn't accept that fact and tried our best to change it. There was blood everywhere you look, and soldiers lifeless body we're lying on the ground, some of them doesn't even have they're whole body anymore.

"Why aren't they climbing back yet?" I mumbled as I looked back the Cadets that was one by one being eaten by Titans that they pass through.

"It seems that they're all almost out of gas." I heard Rico said, making me look back at her with widen eyes.

"What?!" I exclaimed. "We should help them!" I suggested.

"Then what? We're just going to be killed back down there... We also don't have much gas left with us. We can't do anything until the reinforcements gets here."

"So, are you saying we're just going to watch them die?!" I shouted.

"We don't have a choice."

"Yes, we do!" I said and used my gear to swing down at Wall Rose not minding Rico who was shouting my name. I ride a horse and went to where the reinforcements were.

After reaching we're the reinforcements were, I saw how scared they were. Some of them are murmuring to themselves of how the titans might breached and get inside Wall Rose.

I stamp my feet loudly grabbing there attention. "What are you guys doing?! Quit being such a coward and fasten your move! There's still a lot of people who needs our help back there!" I shouted. I changed my gear's gas while I was waiting for them.
