[ L A I L A ]

I growled as I walk back to our HQ, forgetting to wear my 3D maneuver gear it really triggered Rico's anger. I sighed as I went inside HQ and grab my 3D maneuver gear.

"You're really an idiot, aren't you Marsielle?" I shift my gaze to the person who spoke, it was my friend and batch mate as trainees. He has a silver hair with dark brown orbs, he was also wearing a Garrison uniform with a button up white shirt underneath.

"Look who's talking?" I said as I finished wearing my 3D maneuver gear and walked closer to him. "As I remembered, Allan. aren't you the only trainee back then who had a hard time on using this?" I teased as I pointed my gear making the silver haired guy frown.

"Anyways, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at the Karanes Distrist by now?" I asked.

"I heard there's a hot chick on the newly graduates so, I just wanted to check her out."

"Hmm..." I hummed in a bored way, "Well, I hope that hot chick is strong because, it'll be a waste if she just turned into a living stock for the titans." I said with a smirk making Allan click his tongue in annoyance.

"You're still a kill joy, Laila." He said. "But, if you ever see her, introduce me to her okay?" He added.

I shrugged, "Sure thing." I said and walked out of the room.

As I was walking my way back to the south walls, I saw a huge crowd gathered near the street. Shifting my gaze towards where their eyes was on, I saw a group of soldiers riding their horses, wearing a green cape with wings of freedom printed on its back.

"Survey corps..." I mumbled to myself.

I stared blankly at them as I hear the civilians throw encouraging and positive words to all of them.

"Commander Erwin, please give those Titans a good beating for us!"

"Look! It's the Lance Corporal Levi!" one of them said making me look to where he's pointing at and saw Levi with his usual furrowed eyebrows and blank expression.

"They say he's as strong as an entire brigade!"

"Good. It's seems many people are supporting them now..." I thought as I turned my heels and continued to walk back to the walls.

The members of the 104th Training corps we're already there when I climbed back up. "Hello, you guys must be the newly graduates, Congratulations." I said with a deadpan voice as I walked closer to them.

"I'm Laila Marsielle, I was assigned to look after the 4th Fixed Canon Maintenance Squad, which is you guys." I said. "So, mind introducing yourselves?" I added.

"Yes!" They answered in chorus, while saluting at me.

"I'm Samuel Jackson!"

"I'm Mina Carolina!"

"I'm Thomas Wagner!"

"I'm Connie Springer!"

"I'm Sasha Blouse!"

"I'm Eren Yeager!"

"Yeager? That sounds familiar..." I thought.

"Okay, so just like the name of your squad. You guys are assigned to clean and do some maintenance on these boys." I said and points the canons near us.

"You may start doing your duty now..." I said with a smile, "Yes!" they said and quickly went and do their duty.

I stared at them for a while but got bored, also it seems like these guys will do their job even if I wasn't here. "I'll leave you guys for a while. I'm just going to do something down there." I lied. "Okay." Mina answered with a smile.

I went down the walls and walk back home.

[ 3rd Person POV ]

As Laila was walking to her house, a loud sound like lighting was heard. It was so loud that it can be heard in the whole Trost District. Laila flinched as she heard the loud sound, and slowly looks at her back as she noticed how dark it became it's as if something block the sunlight from where she was standing.

Her eyes widen and a small gap was formed on her trembling mouth. "T-Titan... a Titan..." she muttered as she saw the Colossal Titan. Loud screams can be heard from every direction. Suddenly, another loud sound was heard and smoke with dirt and debris filled the area. She yelp as she saw the gates we're destroyed.

"No... not again." She thought as the images of what happened years ago that took her Mother's life appeared on her mind.

Her shaking hands took out the blades of her gear. Her eyes full of anger, focused only on the Colossal Titan, she used her 3D maneuver gear to go back to the walls.

"Huh?" she uttered as she saw a cadet moving back up the walls and jump to the arm of the giant Titan in front of him. "What the hell is he doing?" She said as she tried to fasten her pace to quickly reach the walls.

As she reached and climb back up the walls, the Colossal Titan was gone. "What the— where the heck did it go?" She said to herself as she looks around, she saw the cadets that we're assigned to her.

She quickly walk towards them, "Who the hell is the one who tried to kill himself by fighting the Colossal Titan alone?!" She shouted making the cadets flinched and some of them jump aback scared after seeing her very angry state, expect for one, Eren.

"I said who is—"

"It was me." Eren confessed. "So it's you, Eren Yeager." She said and walk towards the boy and grab him by his uniform, "If you want to die that badly, can you please do it when I'm not the one who's assigned to you?" She said as she glared at him.

A guy suddenly went up to the walls, "Marsielle!" He called, Laila looked back at him through her shoulder "What?" She asked.

"Rico is looking for you. Also, you guys we're ordered to go back to HQ." He said as he looked at the cadets.

Laila lets go of Eren's uniform and pushed him back, "What are you guys still standing there? Go!!" She yelled and the cadets did as they we're told.

"Let's go." The guy said to her and she nods in agreement, and the two also went down the walls and went to Rico.
