Alex's POV
I wake up to a beeping sound. Wow that beeping is getting on my nerves.
I open my eyes to see Brody and Nathan at either side of me. When they see that I am awake they call for the doctor.
When the doctor comes into the room he does tests on me, much to Brody and Nathaniel's dislike. The doctor leaves the room after like 10- 20 minutes in the room.
Brody then comes over to me and says something that I didn't think he would say.
"Where did you get that necklace?" He says calmly.
"Uhhh...." I try to come up with an excuse but Nathan interrupts me before I can get anything else out.
"Let's question her later, not right now. She just woke up and got tests done on her. Let her get some more rest." Nat says sternly to Brody. Wow...I am starting to like Nat.....when I wanted to reject him...but now...I dont know what to think of him.
"Nathan?" I ask.
"Yes?" He replies almost immediately.
"Can I talk to you alone for a moment?" I ask uncertain of what he might say.
"Sure." He says and then tells Brody to get out. "What's up Alex?" He asks after the door closes.
"I-I....." I stammer trying to find the right words. "W-when are we going...back..to the pack I mean?" I ask finally finding words.
"You still want to go back? But you have another mate. You can reject me and accept him. And then you can have pups and-" he rambles before he sees the necklace glow blue. "What the heck is that?" He asks.
"You wouldn't believe me even if I told you. I want to go back to that waterfall Nathan." I sternly say to him.
There is this warm feeling in my chest....like when 'the secret' comes out to play. Oh no, I say in my mind trying to calm down so I dont hurt anyone.
"What is happening?" Nathan asks worriedly.
"Nothing." I say to him with my eyes closed trying to calm down. "Go please."
"....fine, but this doesn't change anything. You are going to tell me what is going on with you later." He says and then I cant hold back much longer.
I shift into my wolf and run out of the hospital. Luckly there is a forest right next to it. I run into the forest for a few minutes before I hear two sets of paws hitting the ground and fast.
I run into a clearing and wait for them. But all of a sudden I get tired and collapse. I then fall asleep before hearing my mates scream for my name, but that isn't all I heard.
'it isn't time yet daughter' I hear my mom say in my mind.
