Chapter 27

Alex's POV

I just stare in horror. 

I shouldn't be scared of him after all I have been through.

But I am.

"Don't tell me you are scared of me darling." He says tauntingly to me with a wicked smirk.

"I am not afraid of you." I say strongly to him even though I am lying.

-Why are we so scared of him?- My wolf Audree asks suspiciously.

- I don't know. It is like his stare is putting an effect on my mind.- I say to her.

"I bet you are though. Deep down, you are shaking in fear of me. You should just back down now before I kill the people you care about." He says in a sinister voice while taking a couple of small steps forward.

"She isn't afraid of you and she never will be!" Nathan shouts towards Jake.

"Yeah, and she will never back down to you!" Brody shouts as well.

Jake waves his hand in the air and some of his men advance on my two mates and hold them down.

My men aren't moving for some reason.

"Confused my dear niece?" A familiar voice sounds from the tree branch over Jake's head.

The cloaked women jumps down from the branch gracefully and walks to me. When she stands just a few feet from me, she unleashes a shadow and it whips around my body and tightens like a vice.

I struggle for a few moments before I realize I am not going to move at all. I am stuck and vulnerable in front of my enemies, Great.

"Oh, don't worry my dear. We aren't going to harm your mates...if you don't sacrifice your power." My aunt says to me.

"No, don't do it!" My mates scream in disagreement to the deal given to me.

I look back at them in enough time to see the demonic men tighten their grip on Nate and Brody. 

"Shut up you mutts! I am talking to Alexandra!" My aunt screams at them.

I look around for my mother, father, and Madame Tara Devereaux. They are no where to be seen.

When I finally need them they aren't here, GREAT. Note the HEAVY sarcasm.

"Do we have a deal?" The Goddess of Darkness, my aunt, asks me with a sickeningly sweet smile.

"No, I would rather die than give you my power." I state confidently to her and lash my powers out to destroy the shadow wrapped around me. 

"So be it!" She shouts out and the monster wolfs bleed from the roots of trees and surround me and my army that have now gone back into motion.

Jake runs full force at me and we start rolling on the ground, throwing punches left and right trying to knock the other down. I use my power and punch him off of me.

"I am stronger than you Alex! I will always be stronger!" He yells and takes out a dagger from the sheath of his belt.

The dagger is silver with black engravings on it. I know what that dagger is.

It is the God and Goddess killer.

He thrusts the blade at me but I dodge it easily. 

"You will never be stronger then me," I say and dodge another slice through the air, " I am the daughter of the Moon Goddess!," slice, " I am the Moon Queen!," I shove him down.

"I am the Ruler of Wolves! And I will not be looked down upon by a boy looking for power that isn't his!" I shout at him and start clawing at his arms that try helplessly to block the blows I am delivering to his body.

I get thrown aside by a wolf and rip out its heart with my hand and I start fighting the demonic wolves.

I hear whimpers of pain and growls of anger all around me.

I try to look for Jake but I can't find him anywhere. That is until I feel a cold and sharp blade touch the skin of my throat while someone holds my arms down.

"I will get your power and I will be the strongest person in the world!" He says while tightening his grip around me.

He turns me to my mates that have been pinned down by like ten wolves each. They look up helplessly, trying to save me and kill Jake for even touching me.

I connect to their minds and say the one thing I should have said before this battle started.

-I love you both-

I say this before I feel a dagger being stabbed into my chest.

Hey everyone.......don't hate me! I have plans don't worry! And sorry (again) for not posting in over a month. I still have the family problems going on.

I hope you guys liked the chapter!.....I HOPE!

I just recently fractured a bone in my right hand ring finger soooo.....it was kind of hard to type this chapter with it hurting. Especially with a scene like that at the end of the chapter. T-T

What did you think of the chapter? And can you tell me if there is any grammar mistakes?
