The Intruder

Lumine's POV

I woke up to a shattering sound from downstairs. I let out a terrible cough and stood up to go look. I opened my door slowly and carefully creeped down the stairs, looking at what was happening. I looked around and noticed that all the lights were off. But they are never all off... I slowly stepped down onto the cold floor and looked around. I saw a shattered vase and then I heard footsteps behind me, I quickly turned around, seeing Kody. "W-what are yo- MY DADS VASE!!!" He yelled. My ears turned back. "I-I didn't d-do this! I c-came down here to s-see what the *cough* n-noise was" I said, afraid. We both heard footsteps circling us and we backed into eachother. I blushed and he kept his head down, listening to the footsteps.

My ears frantically twitched trying to find the person circling us. "AHH LUMINE!" I heard from behind me. I quickly turned around seeing him being held in the air by a weredog in all black. I started to move towards the opponent. He tightened his grip on Kody's neck. "Don't move or I'll kill him!" He said with a smirk on his face. I felt my vision grow blurry and tears rolling down my face. I heard a whimper come from Kody and then he dropped to the floor unconsious. My ears were back and my tail was straight. I was mad. I growled loudly and jumped on the intruder. I turned into my werewolf form and violently bit down on his arm. He growled but was stunned and coulden't move. I then waited for Aiden to arrive. I knew he would come because I heard running from upstairs. I saw Aiden walk downstairs and hold down the intruder with magical green chains.

"Who are you and what is your purpose of coming here?" He said angryly. The intruder tried to break free but the chains only got tighter. He screamed in agony but kept struggling. "Stop trying. You're not going to get out" Aiden said and then sighed. "If you won't talk you might as well leave. But if you come back again you will be captured and killed with no mercy!" He said with violence in his voice. He un-chained the unknown intruder and let him go free. I sat next to Kody and hugged him. I was so worried. He hugged my waist and my face instantly turned red. "K-Kody!" I said Aiden looked over at us and sighed. He walked over to us and grabbed Kody, pulling him off of me, and carrying him to bed. I followed.

I had slept with Kody all night. It was now 8:00 AM in the morning. I yawned as I sat up. I noticed Kody moving a little bit,next to me and I looked over to him. He yawned and opened his eyes. He let out a cough. "A-ah.... Ow" he said rubbing his throat. I poked him and he jumped. He fell out of the bed and hit his arm pretty hard. "AGH! Lumine!?! What the hell!??!" He said angryly. He then let out a cough and got up to lay back in bed. He covered himself up. He looked really warm. "You warm there buddy?" I asked with a laugh following a cough. He nodded and a smile spread across him face.
