A Predacon's Tale

ch.11 Meet Optimus Prime

"I am Flameburst". The Prime just looked at her. "The guardian of Primes". He still looked at her, not believing what he was hearing. "I sensed you were in trouble, and I awoke from stasis to help". Although he wasn't fully buying it he allowed her to help him up.

"I am Optimus Prime" the Prime responded.

"It's a pleasure to meet" Flameburst said bowing her head.

"What brought you here Flameburst?" asked Optimus.

"I was sent here by Alpha Trion and Alchemist Prime, to protect the Prime of the future."

"So you knew the thirteen?" Flameburst nodded. "And you've been in stasis since then?" Flameburst nodded again.

"I need to ask something of you, Optimus"

"Okay"

"I need you to put your servo out, flat, so there may be a seal between us, so I may know when you need my assistance again" Flameburst explained. Optimus did as he was asked and the seal was made. He saw her memories, and the loss of her sire and the details of her mission. Flameburst saw his memories, of 'Megatron', the council meeting and the war and how it had led them to Earth.

As this happened, the other Autobots emerged from the research facility (or whatever it was), they were in awe to see their leader, a Prime, touch a Predacon. When Flameburst saw them she panicked and took to the air. She'd already suffered at the hands of new gens so much that she really didn't want to be involved. But she was young and still had much to learn about them.

Optimus was still looking at his right servo. He was shocked by what he had seen. The Quintessions, her sire. How much had she suffered at their hands? Thought Optimus Prime.

"What was that we just saw?" questioned Arcee.

"That" started Optimus "is our only hope of defeating Megatron". The team looked up at the Predacon flying away.

"Why would a Predacon save one of us?!" exclaimed Smokescreen who was at base during the mission.

"I dunno" said Arcee "but Optimus seems to trust her"

"Flameburst, saved him that's all we need to believe" said Ultra Magnus.

"Any news on the Decepticons location?" asked Arcee.

Why did I flee? I should have stayed, and asked if I was needed to help with this new war. But no, I fled. Why Primus? Why did I flee?

On the up side, I met the new Prime and the seal was made. I just hope these new upgrades will help. I've grown longer and taller but I think its added armour. And my voice has a new accent, and it's deeper. Also some of the new abilities I have is that I can ground bridge anywhere on this Earth. I sense that there is someone else here who I have a seal with. I hope I find them soon, maybe they can help me adapt to these new times. But until I'm needed, I'll be in stasis.
