Flameburst was just an average Predacon, well original Predacon. She had been released from the Well of AllSparks as a chick though which made her a little different. She was raised by the Predacon Guardian named Flame. The Predacon Guardian was actually a rank of Predacon. This allowed the Predacon to hypnotize and control other Predacons. But this also meant that the Predacon Guardian had to, well guard something in return: Primes. But the Predacon Guardian isn't the only one who can hypnotize other Predacons. Any alpha Predacon can hypnotize some Predacons, but the Guardian can hypnotize them all!
When Flameburst emerged from the well she immediately saw Flame. She looked in to his optics, which is what every Predacon chick does when it hatches from its protoform cell (egg), but it's usually with the mother. And then she adopted his blue optics, the optics of an alpha Predacon! And from that day on she was his daughter, and he taught her everything there was to being an alpha, until of course the Quintessions arrived!
