Two Poles Apart

Chapter 6

Susan:
 
        Ok! I accept your friendship. We are friends now.

Robert:
   
        Thank you. We are friends now, isn't it. Will you come with me to cafe after lectures get over?

Susan:
        Ya sure.

                    Her face lighted up listening Robert's words. Red scars devlop on her face. She was indulged in her thoughts , when she heard a voice from behind. Someone was calling Robert. It was Alex , Robert  old friend. She and Robert were classmates earlier.

Alex:
         
          Hello! How are you Robert? Its good to see you after a long time.
 
Robert:
         
          Hii! I am absoutely fine. How are you Alex?

Alex:

            I am fine. Looking at Susan she asked, who is she? What happen to her hand?

Robert:

            Meet my friend Susan. She has lost her hand in some accident when she was small.

Susan:
 
              Hii! I am susan. Nice to meet you.

Alex:
           Hello! I am alex. Nice to meet you too. I felt bad about your hand.

Susan:
         Its ok! I have devlop a habit living with one hand.

Robert:
         
         When you have join and which class you are?

Alex:
       
         I have join from today only. I am in biology class.

Robert:
     
           Ohh really! Am very happy to know this. I and susan were both in same class. You can ask your doubts to us , we will help you.

Alex:
    
        Thank you for your concern. Surely I will ask you if any problem will be there.

Robert:
           I and Susan were going to cafe after classes get over. Would you join us there?

Alex:
           Yaa, sure. I will join you both.

             Susan was standing silent listening there conversation. Hearing this Susan  became angry. Anger is seen on her face clearly which shows she does'nt like Alex interference between them.

        Robert knows I don't like anyone company. Knowing this why he invite Alex with us. It does'nt mean I want to spend  some time with Robert. I don't like that anyone should give me sympathy. Why he told her about my incident  without my permission. Before she ask  me anything more I should leave from here.

    Without saying anything she immediately went away from there. She went to canteen to have some eatables. Robert read her face and know that she does'nt like Alex. He went behind her and tried to talk with her. But she does'nt even saw his face. She went away without uttering a word. After classes get over she ran home without wasting single minute there. She was upset. After reaching home she throws all the things here and there in her room.  She keep herself lock few hours. Hearing her mother's voice she came down for dinner. During dinner  her minds was lost in thoughts.
    
     Susan:
            Why would am I thinking much?It is not my jealousy. Alex is his friend, so he can share everything with her. May be Alex would be as good as Robert. I should not think much. It should not bother me, Alex is also his friend as I.
   
      After dinner she went in her room. She took a shower and wear her pjamas. She lay on bed and start reading novel.
