The Terran (another word for humans)
The Protoss (advanced psionic race of noble aliens)
The Zerg (mindless race of bugs who band together under whatever hive mind has the most power)
Hybrid: an unholy merger of Zerg and Protoss to follow the main bad guy Amon.

Turret - main surface to air defense structure.

Templar - noble psionic fighters. Dark Templar use warp blades, light Templar use psionic blasts.
Archon - the merger of two Templar to create a powerful psionic creature capable of many special actions.
