Hiya :3
So in this chapter there are some of my ships! Im sorry if you don't like the ships, but its my story so... Anyway, the ship is Marco x Jean, which I think is really sweet and Marcos death was one of the saddest. Ok, well, have fun reading ^-^

I finished my duties at the gates and returned to my cloud, lying down to sleep on the soft surface.

'Hey!' A voice startled me awake. I sat up to see Xan.

'Ngh..' I moaned, indicating that I had been sleeping, 'What is it?'

'Do you want to come down to Earth with us?' He asked.

'Wha... When?' I stammered, surprised by his request.

'In a few minutes' he replied. I nodded. Of course, I knew the reason they were going down there. Demons. The Commanders of Skies only ever went to Earth if there was a threat.

I dressed in the clothes Xan had given me earlier and followed him to where Toki was. He stood with his back to us, his clothes flying out in the wind along with his hair. There was now a katana at his side.

Xan grinned and strapped a belt of knifes around his waist. Leya appeared holding her mace along with Janet and her sword. Finally, Ed with a pair of military swords.

'Everybody is here...' Toki murmured, turning around, 'Oh, (y/n), you'll need a weapon.' He handed me his katana.

'What about you?' I asked, worried about him going down unarmed. We couldn't die, but there are things worse than death. If you were killed or injured in battle, you lapsed into a coma of sorts while your body healed. The worse the injuries, the longer the coma. It was said that while you were asleep you were in constany agony, reliving all your worst nightmares and death. He scoffed.

'I can take those shits out bare handed, don't worry,' He smirked.

I found myself grinning despite the increasing concern building inside me. We were going to fight demons...

'Lets go!' Ed shouted, smiling like a lunatic. As a consequence of fighting so mamy titans, his sanity was almost drained, causing him to become a whole different person once he launched himself into battle.

Toki nodded and leapt from the cloud we were standing on, and plummeting towards the ground. The rest of us followed. The feeling of falling was the worst part, as much as the others enjoyed it, because it reminded me so much of Levi falling. I held tightly to the katana as we landed in a backstreet nearby the underground. We were invisible, like the demons, to humans, but I still felt uneasy. This was a part of the walls that no person valuing themselves went. That and the fact that Levi grew up there.

We followed Xan and Toki through the streets, our eyes peeled for the evil beings. Then, the air changed.

It was colder, and we were surrounded with a black mist. They were here.

Demons were dark skeletons with hollow white eyes, vicious claws and horns that were the very definition of nightmares and darkness, until you killed them, then they returned to their humanoid state while they returned to where they came from. There seemed to be about seven in total.

I leapt into battle in unison with the others. It was as if I was fighting titans all over again.

I could see Leya and Janet fighting back to back, so fast they were untouchable. Xan dodged claws and threw knifes into their skulls, while Ed sliced through their spines with a manical laugh. But more were appearing. I sliced the katana left and right, killing them one by one.
