Xan's eyes narrowed, "You wish to fight me, demon?"

"Xan, don't," Janet called, "He'll kill you,"

"Levi," Toki dipped his head, "This idiot needs teaching a lesson, but we will deal with it. Please don't hurt him... Yet, anyway."

Everyone else stared at Toki with surprise- how could he speak so politely to the demon after what had happened to him?

"I see," Levi said thoughtfully, "In that case I will take my leave. However," his iris' turned black, "If you threaten her again, it will be me you answer to," he vanished, and Xan let out a low growl, swinging his blade clumsily at Toki and stalking away.

"Xan," Toki growled, pinning him against the wall, "You will be taking a brief hiatus from fighting alongside the Commanders, at least until you get your act together.

"Wha-"

"Threatening an angel, the head of angels at that, is a crime. This is my final decision."

"You bastard," Xan was a blur as he drove a foot into Toki's stomach and attempted to get away, but the older man's hands gripped his wrist tightly, eyes wide with fury.

"Oh my god are they going to fight?!" Janet worried. I raced towards them, but Ed held me back.

"Don't interfere, (y/n). Xan needs to be put into place,"

Toki ducked under a fist and drew his katana, dodging blows from his opponent's knifes. Xan caught him on the wrist and he yelled in pain, snatching his hand away as crimson dripped onto the floor. Xan lunged forwards, moving to stab Toki again, when the older man sidestepped him, before swinging his blade towards the other man's neck. It sliced through cleanly, before his head thudded to the ground.

"Xan!" I squealed, racing to his body as it slumped to the ground. Beside him, Toki stood, breathing heavily, eyes glazed with horror.

"Toki you went too far!" Leya yelled, punching him. Ed pulled her back, but they soon all became a blurred picture through my tears. Toki had killed Xan. He was dead.

"Toki..." I turned to him, "What the hell?"

He raised his blade towards himself, expression unreadable.

"I commited a crime punishable in my time by death," he muttered, "and so this is how I end..."

He went to put the katana through his chest, but Janet pushed him over.

"Don't you dare!" She took the sword and flung it away. He lay on the floor, his expression still apparently neautral.

A little way away, someone started slowly clapping. We all turned to see Levi.

"That bastard's still here?" Ed groaned. The clapping seized.

"Good show," levi sighed, "but in the end you killed him anyway. You might as well have let me have my fun... However..." He glanced at Toki, "You will be coming with me down to Hell. You have no place as an angel after that performance."

Toki sat up, head bowed.

"Just kill me now..."

Levi stepped forward slowly, becoming his demon form, and the rest of us stepped back to form a path. That was when I had an idea.

"Take me instead!" I screamed, stepping in front of Toki.

He grabbed my ankle, shaking his head.

"Don't do this, (y/n)!"

I smiled at him, "Sorry, but the commanders need you,"

Levi grinned, hands on hips.

"In that case," he outstretched a skeletal hand, "Let's go!"

I took his hand, and we vanished, and I found myself falling, the wings on my back burning away until they were black. The air around me grew hotter, and sweat began pooling on my skin.

I found myself standing on something black, like obsidian, with streams of lava running past my feet. A little way away were huge red gates: replicas of those in Heaven except these were topped with skulls and everyone going through screaming in protest. So... This was Hell.

I felt a hand on my back, as Levi leant down to whisper in my ear.

"You know, before you go through those gates, I would sure love to taste you again," he purred, and my skin began to crawl.

"I will kiss the Levi I fell in love with, not some demonic creep," I sighed, "But... I guess it can't hurt,"

How wrong I was...

I spun to meet him, his arms around my waist, holding me tightly against his unusually warm body. Our mouths met, but only for a few seconds as a deep voice sounded nearby.

"Prince of Hell, how dare you break one of Hell's laws!"

Levi was torn from me and went flying across the jagged rocks, before coming to rest a little way off.

I turned to look at his attacker.
Oh my...

I think... I think we're in trouble now...
