The Bloodline

Chapter 1- the first horror

It was one of the few hot days of Rajasthan. A group of Archaeologist was sent to the palace of Dwadi they were sent to investigate the newly discovered skeletons which were founded by a tourist accidentally. They were a group of five people. They were traveling on a bus. 

They got a flat tire in the middle of their journey. It was a time off after sunset, the night was covering day. They waited for 2-3 hours; eventually, they saw a jeep coming towards them. They cried for help, the jeep came to stop in front of them. The man was of old age he had half burnt face his look was terrifying, yet we asked for help. When we told him our problem and where we were going.

He said "I would help you only on one condition that your group does not take anything from the palace", we all agreed to his condition and left.

We reached the palace we were greeted by the maids and guards as we were late we were tired so we left for food in the dining hall. We were served delicious food. Then we left for our rooms. One of the members was Suresh he was tired and exhausted. He was about to sleep when he heard a sound of guard shouting his name. He came out of his room.

Suresh shouted, "Who is there?" no one answered.

The shouting stopped. Then he heard a man whispering behind the corner. He moved towards the sound of the whispering. When he reached near the corner the whispering stopped. Suddenly a guard appeared from the corner.

"Is there any problem sir?" the guard asked politely.

"No there is no problem", replied Suresh

Then the guard left. Suresh also turned and was about to leave, but suddenly he heard some noise. This time it was coming from the first floor. He was on the second floor, so he decided to go downstairs alone with ought a guard. When he reached on the first floor. He traced the noise it was coming from the place where they had to work the next day [the place below the kitchen]. He slowly kept moving towards the noise. When he reached the workplace, suddenly there was a screaming around the palace. Everybody woke up and started coming out of their rooms. Suresh being alone in the floor got a little terrified and so, he ran towards the end of the corridor, and then he got a hit on his head so he fell on the floor unconscious.

The next morning he woke up on the bed, with a trauma in the infirmary of the palace. When he rose, he saw all his friends around him.

"What happened last night?" asked the head of security (Mr. Rameshwar)

"I was there downstairs, and then I.....I don't remember it", said Suresh confused.

Mr. Rameshwar could not understand his talk and was confused about the night as he was himself on the guard for the night.

The group left for their work except one. She was one of the members of the group. Her name was Diya and, she cared hugely for Suresh. The time during others was working, she took care of Suresh.

At night when everyone was asleep in their room. Suresh was sleeping in infirmary room. The lights in the palace suddenly went off. Suresh woke up, suddenly the doors of infirmary room closed, and women appeared in dark wearing a red dress from the dark corner of the room.

"Don't come near me", shouted Suresh.

The woman came nearer to Suresh, walking slowly.

"Help...Help", Suresh shouted continuously.

# Diya's POV #

She woke up with the lights turning off. She was about to sleep back when she heard the sound of Suresh from the infirmary room for help. 

 She suddenly stood up and ran towards the door, but the door was locked from outside. She tried to push open the door but no luck. Then she shouted continuously for opening the door. 

This causes everyone to wake up but the problem was that everyone's door was locked and so everyone started shouting. On listing to this chaos Mr. Rameshwar ran into the palace with guards from the front door and opened the doors of everyone on opening diya's door she ran to infirmary room and opened the door. She saw him lying on the floor unconscious.

# Suresh's POV #

He was suddenly lifted in the air and was thrown aside, then was dragged and slammed into the wall in the front. He got all blood around him due to this injury and fell unconscious. He woke up with a heavy headache. Everyone was around him. Just as he opened his eyes, everyone started asking a question. Seeing this

Diya shouted "shut up everyone! Let him breathe".

The room suddenly got quite no one dared to go against her when she got angry.

Diya asked in a sympathetic manner "what happened last night?"

"I was sleeping and suddenly lights went off and then when I woke up I saw a woman in dark with a red dress", he told them how and what happened at night.

Listing to this everyone got quiet for a while, something was fishy about the night as everyone was doors were locked this caused an unsettling feeling among everybody due to the description of the woman in dark.
