The next morning Suresh was still in the infirmary. Everyone was working for the day. That night when Diya was working in her room, it was almost 3 o'clock at night when she wrapped her work up. She got ready for the night and was about to sleep when she heard someone calling her. She got up and swung open her door. Nobody was present there. She came out and looked around but no one was there suddenly she saw a woman in a red dress running up the stair, so she took the torch and ran upstairs, it was a restricted area of the palace. She didn't know of the restriction.
When she reached the end of the stair, she saw the floor was abounded and dusty. She moved forward, the floor was squealing and creaking. She slowly moved forward, and then she reached the corner of the corridor which was right next to the stairs. She started walking towards the other end of the corridor while walking she notices pictures carved on the wall to her right.
She started observing each picture, the first picture showed king and queen walking with their children beside a pool. The next one showed king leaving and the queen was with children; the next showed a mysterious man killing queen and children. Further, it showed the man pushing and running away. The last picture showed king kneeling in front of the pool and weeping. Feeling a gust of wind Diya turned and saw a vase thrown towards her.
# Rameshwar's POV #
Rameshwar was patrolling around the palace when he noticed that Diya's room was open. So he ran with guards to check Diya's room. When he reached there, they saw the room was empty and suddenly heard a sound of breaking glass.
So they ran out and started looking around, suddenly they heard the screaming of someone coming from upstairs, so they ran upstairs and to their surprise, they saw Diya was fallen unconscious at the edge of the stairs.
# Diya's POV #
The next morning Diya woke up with a heavy head in the infirmary room. She saw everyone staring at her.
"Where the heck were you last night?" Mr. Rameshwar.
"I.........I was in my room and somebody was calling so I opened my room but no one appeared, so I came out of my room and searched around, suddenly I saw a woman with red dress running upstairs".
"But that floor has a restriction of entering; you must not have trespassed in the floor. It is dangerous to enter in that floor", said Mr. Rameshwar.
"I didn't know about it, anyway so I got upstairs and saw a corridor of a picture depicting a story of some queen's murder...." Diya stopped.
"This is preposterous", shouted Mr. Rameshwar, "There are no pictures on that floor".
"I just saw the picture I don't know about them", said Diya, "then when I turned a vase came gushing towards me, I barely dodged it. On this point, I started running towards the stairs, but suddenly I was dragged when I was about to reach the stairs. I flew back into the air towards the end of the corridor. During this rush, I lost my torch, so I ran through the corridor with ought any torch; I was about to reach when I suddenly got bumped into a wall beside the stairs and fell unconscious".
"You must rest now", said Ajay, "and we people have some things to discuss".
Thus the day became a total confusion and fearful for others.
