Chapter-4 the missing

Nick and ajay went upstairs to see if anybody was present there. They first went on the floor where there rooms were present.

"The rooms are empty", said nick

"Did you check the corner rooms?" asked ajay

"Yes, they are also empty and locked", confirmed ajay

"Then let's go to the next floor", said ajay

"Then let's go", said nick.

While walking to the next floor they heard some sound coming from third floor.

"Did you hear that sound", asked ajay

"Yes, such a strange sound", said nick

"We should go upstairs there must be someone or something", said ajay

"No, we shouldn't go there didn't Mr. Rameshwar said that it was forbidden and that diya was also founded there unconscious", said nick

"Yes, on that point let's go to infirmary room we will check on him and Suresh", said ajay.

They both hurried upstairs and got to the infirmary room .when they tried to open the door it was locked from inside, so they both pushed from outside and broke the door.

# Josh's POV #

I and Suresh left for seeing that all the ladies are safe.

"Is everyone ok?" asked Suresh

"Yes, we are okay", said daisy

"Ok so we have a problem and that is police we can't have contact with police. So we are stuck here for night", I said

"Can't anyone go down to the station and bring police?" asked daisy

"I think that can likely be done. Good work thinking that. Suresh I want you to go to Mr. Rameshwar and tell him to send a guard to police station and bring them here", I Said

"Ok I will leave right away", said Suresh.

Then Suresh left for conveying the message to Mr. Rameshwar. They all sat down for a while. About after five to six minutes everyone was quite, and suddenly nick came running, his body was covered with blood. He came to me.

"Nick what is this why are you covered with blood?" I asked

"She ....there...... got.... Hit.....missing", said nick

"What are you saying I don't understand, who got hit, who is missing"

Then suddenly he felt unconscious. I carried him in the room and laid him on the bed. Just as I laid him lights went off, I ran outside to call the guards, but when I came out it was unusually empty there were no guards in the corridor I ran towards the grill. No one was present in the courtyard. It was too dark to see far ends of the corridor and I even tried to call but no one was answering. Then I got back inside.

"No one is out there and the courtyard is empty, I think I need to go down", I said

"Not by yourself and certainly not in dark, I will come with you", said daisy

"No, you must stay here and try to wake him up. I will go down and find Suresh and Mr. Rameshwar", I said.

"Please take care of yourself", said daisy.

Saying this she hugged me and kissed me on the cheek. I was amazed by the move, but I had no time to waste so smirked a little and then I ran.

I reached the end of corridor in a minute but it felt like an hour. Everything was dark and I could barely see, I switched on my mobile flashlight and looked around. Then I stood in front of stair and started walking downstairs very quietly. Suddenly I heard a slight sound of a footstep. As it was dark and I was alone my senses were at the peak I could hear my own heart beating. I stood there for a second and looked around as I was not able to see anyone I again continued walking; I was at the end of the stairs when suddenly a hand fell on my shoulder, a chill went through my spine. I slowly turned backward and saw , it was daisy.

"Are you serious? What the hell were you thinking? I could get a heart attack", I said angrily at her

"I am sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you, I am really sorry", she said in a guilty way.

"What are you doing here, I told you to stay with nick",

"Yes but I could not think of letting you go alone, I was worried about so I came after you", she said still in a sad voice.

"I can't let you go back all by yourself, ok come with me but do not make any noise", I said.

Then we both started moving towards the stairs leading us down. We reached the first floor where our rooms. We were about to go downstairs when I saw somebody coming out of diya's room.

"Hey! Who are you, what are you doing there", I shouted

On hearing me it ran I started running behind it. Daisy started running after me.

"Hey stop.... Hey", I shouted running behind it.

It ran towards another corridor and turn I ran faster but when I turned to the corridor I saw the corridor was empty as far as I could see and then it was dark.

"It got away", I said breathing heavily

"Who could it be?" asked daisy

"I don't know I think we should go back to Mr. Rameshwar's office downstairs we can see through CCTV footage.", I said

"Yes we should go back", said daisy.

Then we left the floor. When we reached the Mr. Rameshwar's office I knocked, but just as I tapped the door I slightly opened.

"Stay back", I said in whisper to daisy.

She nodded to me. And we entered the whole room was messed up and the papers were everywhere, the CPU was broken, the computer screen was fallen on the floor, and a warning was written on the floor with blood.

"Do not call police or diya dies", I read

"What are we going to do josh", daisy asked

Suddenly a guard came running in. on entering he saw everything and was in a great shock, but then he cleared his throat.

"Sir Mr. Rameshwar is missing and what has happened here", said the guard.

"We don't know we came here just now", said daisy

"What did you just say, Mr. Rameshwar is missing", I asked him

"Yes sir he is missing", he said

"Josh what is happening", said daisy

"I don't know but this night is getting worse", I said.

"What should we do now?"

"I don't know. We must wake up nick now let's go ", I said.
