Henry was an old man. He had been through so much, yet the pain he felt on a daily basis was nothing compared to the pain he was feeling in his heart, at this very moment. He was hiding in a small closet, from a monster he had helped create, thirty long years ago. Since then, he had gone to war, and had seen people drop dead like flies. But this? He was NEVER going to be able to forget this. Tears were streaming down his face, yet he was silent. The beast who had been following him, was frantically looking for him, he looked almost frightened. Henry felt fear shiver through his bones, and into him heart. He wasn't afraid of the beast, no. He was afraid of what he thought he would have to do to him. He didn't want to do it, oh hell how he didn't. But he didn't know what else to do, since the beast was trying to kill him.

The beast stopped right in front of the little closet Henry was hiding in. He had his back to the old man, but was searching frantically. He let out what Henry heard as a cry, and dropped to his knees. Henry watched the creature curl up into itself, and begin to cry. Henry didn't know what to do, he desperately wanted to run to the creature, to comfort him, to make him feel safe again. But he didn't know what the creature would do if he tried. He sat against the door of the closet, and lightly banged his head against it, crying to himself. "Oh, Bendy. I'm so sorry this happened" he spoke out loud, not knowing what else to do. "I'm sorry Joey did this. I'm sorry I didn't see it sooner. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry that I left you and the others" the old man continued, apologizing for things he didn't even cause.

The demon had cried himself to the point of melting. He had now taken on a much smaller form, yet he was still crying. He had crawled up to the little closet, and placed his hands on the door. He began to whimper slightly, before speaking. "Dad? Dad, I'm scared" he spoke, his small voice quivering. The old man froze, before standing. He opened the door, only to see a small figure sitting on the ground, tears streaming, much like himself. The old man scooped up his son, and hugged him tight. "I know, son" he spoke, petting the back of the small demons head. "I promise, I'll never leave you, or the others again. Not after this" the small demon held his father tightly, crying into his vest. "I love you, papa" he spoke. "I love you too, son. I love you too"
