Chapter 4

NEXT DAY

I wake up and look at my phone, omg it's 9:00, shit I'm going to be late! I quickly get up and get in the shower and brush my teeth, after my shower I rush to find an outfit.. ok I'm ready to go, I grab my bag and my jacket and head out the door.

As I'm coming out of the door I see Ethan getting into his car, I called his name and asked him could he give me a ride.. he just looked at me then got in his car.. that was weird maybe he's mad about me not kissing him? Whatever guess I'll have to walk..

*15 Minutes later*

I finally arrive at school, and I'm 20 minutes late, I don't really care about being on time, but I don't want to hear my teacher complaining. I walk into the classroom and everyone looks up, I try to walk to my seat but Mr. Smith stops me..

Mr. Smith: Emma why are you late to my class?

Emma: Overslept, sorry..

Mr. Smith: don't make it a habit, take a seat.

I look around the classroom for an empty seat but The only one I could find was right beside Grayson. Ugh I decide to just deal with it, it shouldn't be that bad right?

Grayson: WOW late on the second day?

Emma: worry about yourself Grayson.

GRAYSONS' POV

I really wanna get some alone time with Emma and maybe get to know her better I'm thinking about asking her if she wants to go to the arcade after school..

Grayson: I like worrying about you

Emma: interesting

EMMA'S POV

Grayson won't stop talking to me, but for some reason I won't stop responding, we've literally been talking almost the whole class I don't remember anything Mr. Smith went over..

Grayson: hey, I'm going to the arcade after school, wanna come?

Emma: eh.

Grayson: it would be fun, I promise. We could get to know each other better.

Who says I want to get to know you?

* BELL RINGS*

Emma: well..  looks like you'll never know my answer.
