Into It

The next morning Yoongi tossed his fifth can of beer for the morning into the waste bin he carried.

He rolled his tongue around his mouth as he pulled another can from the crate. He began to drink it thirstily as if it was his first drink after a long walk.

"It will not harm me." Yoongi set the can next to him then opened his laptop on his lap. He was sitting on top of a nice garden hill in a location he had not been to before. All he knew was that it was far from home.

The boy opened his production software and pressed the play button on a tune he had been working on for Unwanted Company.

When the background music for what was supposed to be a love song began playing he shook his head cringing.

"It sounds too sad to be pop song." He closed his laptop and set it aflame before lying on his back, deciding to admire the blue in the sky. He would buy a new laptop and work on a song later. His mind was not in the right frame right now.

"The love of her life." The man pointed to a cloud at the thought. He set his hand at his side again then sighed.

The trust between him and her was gone. What he needed to do was ensure that Leigh would be a good keeper. "I am probably only doing this to keep my mind off of the hurt." He sighed. It was hard for somebody like him to admit to being in pain. He had been so sure that he would have a chance with Jesy. Yoongi had never thought that she would eventually call Leigh-Anne hers instead.

Yoongi was the one who knew all. His relationship with her was so strong. She shared all with him and he was never too tired to give advice. Whenever life got too hard for her she would come to him. "But not anymore. I can sense that she is probably having problem right at this moment."

The birds sang as they flew peacefully through the sky. Yoongi loved their music but they did not help his inner turmoil to languish. "Was I really wrong for reacting?" The fire and all of its destruction came to mind. He had definitely gone overboard.

"Oh well." He thought of Leigh and how she had snapped at him for trying to help that time. "Ahh Hopeful Heart. No language has a word to describe you." He'd given her instructions to meditate and look into herself. She had said that she would do it but he felt that she would not. "One day I will truly help. I have nothing to do but think of ways to help. My purpose is to use wisdom and powers to help after all."

After rising to his feet, he dusted his pants off. "I wonder if that idiot is in same position as I." The thought of someone else sharing his pain was comforting but he could feel that Ray Ray had probably moved on . . . temporarily.

"Humph." Yoongi flew high then began moving away from his spot. He was going to buy a few more beers then head home to lie in bed. Hopefully he would find some inspiration there. He was supposed to be good with music. "I will phone Hoseok. He will be of great help." Hoseok had not been answering his cell lately though. Jin had called yesterday and this morning but the boy had not picked up. They were all beginning to think that something was wrong with him.

He brushed it off. "I will worry for him another time."

Leigh-Anne laughed heartily at a joke her friend Trevor told her. It had only been two days of her joining the university and she already had her own crew. Everyone attending the university was dying to be her friend but she chose the people she had most in common with to spend her free periods. It was afternoon now and her classes were done for the day.

"I get the joke but to me it's just mean." Said a girl by the name of Toni. She was in Leigh's Creative Writing class. She looked to Leigh. "Don't you think?" She had really not been looking to be close acquaintances with this chick. Leigh-Anne Pinnock had sat next to her this morning on the first day of class. Leigh had greeted her and Toni had greeted back but she had tried to end the conversation there. Leigh had not been having it though. The girl had started chatting her up on various things and since Toni was not the rude type she chatted back. It turned out that Leigh was not the spoiled diva that tons of magazines said she was. Not that Toni had thought that. She had just never caught on to the hype over Lesy.
