I felt my chest rise as I inhaled. Feeling it slowly deflate when I exhaled just the same, was reassuring me I was still alive. At least some what. I couldn't see anything, besides a black cloth around my eyes and nose. Making my inhales and exhales interrupted.

I tried to recollect what happened prior to my black out...

Dimitri, and gun fire, and the package were the main pin points. Crap...What about Steve? I'm sure he is fine. I'm in North Korea some where, on a mission to rescue Tony Stark. Yep. Sounds about right. Where would anyone take me though? And am I injured?

I wiggled my body slightly and didn't feel any indication of pain or wound dressing. Then where did that bullet hit?

All these questions buzzed around my head like sirens with no cease. I didn't know what to do.

I cant see anything and I'm restrained, what now? I tugged on the restraints. They felt leather, like belts. I was laying on a table, cold, metal, probably steel.

The material I felt around me reminded me of the evening before I graduated the Red Room.

Night before graduation, all the female cadets of our training were sterilized. Tied to a hospital bed, and well, you can figure out the rest.

Pulling on the restraints a little harder I felt my left hand budge slightly. Then I heard footsteps.

"The subjects are here, as you see. And the 'special one' present as you requested." I heard what sounded like a middle aged Korean man said.

"Interesting. Thank you. Leave me now." Another Russian man proclaimed. This voice sounded familiar. There was a certain raspiness to his voice, like he smokes or yells a lot. More foot steps followed my thoughts. Then silence, more silence. I felt his eyes gaze the room, regardless if I could see them or not. His eyes stopped on me...I felt it. Footsteps.

"Natalia.." Whom ever this was knew me enough to know my Russian name. Hearing someone use it in a place other than my nightmares, gave me chills. I stayed still and shortened my breaths.
