somewhere out at sea
far past all the reality
there sits a man
with a hook hand
and a mermaid
in the shade
under a tree
with a fairy.
They talk about
rainbow colored trout.
its all very odd
so instead they talk about cod
which is also a fish
and now they all have a wish
for a seafood dish.
so they eat the mermaid
and what a nice meal she made
for the hook man and the fairy
who are really quite scary.
