yeonseo sighed as packed her things after the last period. kris didn't bother to ask her why she left the auditorium earlier since it looks like she's very gloomy. jinyoung, on the other hand kept on glancing to the quiet girl and started to have a hunch that she's dissapointed about what just happened.

“you're not going to the café?” kris asked her. but yeonseo shook her head.

“what about jihoon hyung?” jinyoung asked.

“i'll just give him a call. i gotta go.” yeonseo smiled as she shrugged her bag on her shoulder, gathering some books from her desk. but before she could exit the room, she stopped halfway and looked at kris and jinyoung. “today's a good day for you to be at peace.” she smiled again leaving the two, looking at each other agressively.

yeonseo made her way out of her classroom and went to fish her phone from her pocket, dialing jihoon's number.

“i was about to call you, jinyoung told me you just left.” jihoon said as he picked up his phone.

“i'm sorry, i just don't feel well.” she lied upon taking the exit.

“so you're not visiting the café today? such a shame.” jihoon pouted as he stood in front of her classroom with kris and jinyoung looking at him.

“sorry, i want to skip drinking coffee today.” she sighed, sitting down on the bench underneath a shed beside the bus stop sign.

“are you okay yeonseo? you don't sound happy at all.” jihoon said worriedly. kris and jinyoung glanced at each other as kris thought about something she noticed earlier on yeonseo.

“i'm fine, i just want to go home.” she sighed.

“you could've wait for me so i can walk you home.” jihoon said as he started to walk, “where are you right now?”

“you still have work later jihoon. the bus is here, i'm dropping the call.” jihoon was about to say something when yeonseo ended it. jihoon groaned in frustration since he is starting to feel worried.

but he let her go anyways. he left jinyoung and kris behind and walked out of the school not bothering where woojin is right now. he has gotten into a bad mood, maybe he felt the way how gloomy yeonseo is.

meanwhile, kris looked at jinyoung and shook her head leaving him too. jinyoung sighed in defeat as he rubbed his nape. he knows he did something that the girl didn't like. he didn't have a choice but to follow her around.

and as of woojin's case who's currently having the responsibility of taking care of his new girlfriend, he had to walk sohye home.

“i still can't believe you asked me to be your girlfriend. it's like a fiction.” sohye smiled as she chuckled about the situation.

“it's the way i express my feelings for you.” woojin said  trying not be obvious being the fake one. sohye cupped her mouth as she laughed.

“why are you telling me this, when my life is at stake?” she said with a sad smile. of course woojin felt guilty for playing pretend and following her friends' orders especially kyulkyung. he bit his lower lip and shook his head. sohye looked at him. “you knew about my illness don't you?” she asked him.

“yes.” he answered being straightforward.

“i hope you won't regret that you're doing this, because by the time i'm — ”

“don't say something like that, this is my choice. i'll be here. i won't go.” woojin said as he held her hand. sohye gave him a small smile and nodded.

“you don't really have to do this, woojin.” she said.

“i insisted.” woojin smiled as he pulled her closer, resting her head on his shoulder as they walk along on the sidewalk. of course sohye is happy, and woojin is trying to be happy.

a few minutes have passed, they both arrived in front of sohye's house.

“so this is it,” she told him. “thanks for walking me home.”

“no problem, i'll be back tomorrow morning, let's go to school together.” woojin smiled. sohye's eyes sparkled and gave him a cheerful nod.

“i'll be glad to. bye, woojin.” sohye said giving him a small wave and entered her house leaving woojin with a small fading smile.

he rubbed his nape and started to track his way towards to the café. it was pretty far from sohye's place so he needs to take the bus again.

he stood in front of the bus stop as a bus came by to drop some passengers, he was about to go in when he bumped onto yeonseo who just got out. she accidentally dropped her books due to the impact the bumping had brought. woojin immediately bend down not noticing the girl.

“oh my gosh, i'm so sorry.” she said as the boy picked her things up, then standing up, handing it to her. woojin realized who it was.

“yeonseo..” he called, yeonseo's eyes widened of course. she immediately took her book gently from his grip and bowed.

“thanks,” she said. “what are you doing here? you're suppose to be in the café right now.” she added hugging the pile of books.

“ah, i walked my girlfriend home.” he answered as yeonseo nodded. “how about you? i thought you're with jihoon.”

“oh, i— i'm heading home. i don't feel well, that's all.” she lied and unfortunately, woojin missed the bus.

“oh shit, i missed it!” he exclaimed to himself as the bus went away. yeonseo looked at the moving vehicle and thought it was her fault for stopping woojin.

“oh i'm sorry.” she apologized. woojin just smiled at her, a sweet and reassuring one.

“it's okay, i'll just wait for the next one.” he said. “i think you should go if you don't feel good.” he added.

“yeah, i— i think i should. i'll see you around.” she smiled and left immediately.

woojin watched her walking away and he thought that it's still early. he usually go to the café at six but it is an hour before his schedule so, he decided to catch up with the girl.

“yeonseo wait!” he yelled earning her attention. yeonseo stopped as she turned around to the boy who must called her.

“oh, woojin?” she said.

“which street are you? let me walk you home.” he said as yeonseo's eyes widened.

“what? no, no, you girlfriend might see us and you still have your part-time job.” she said trying to refuse but woojin shook his head.

“no it's fine,” woojin insisted. “let me help you with your books.” he added taking the heavy books from her hands. she was about to refuse again but she sighed in defeat.

“thanks.”
