“eonni, i'm going to school now.” kris said as she packed her things with sohye looking at her gently. she gets paler and paler every day.
“okay, please tell the school that i'm dropping out. take my papers already.” sohye answered as kris sighed sadly and gave her a slight nod.
“okay,” she answered. “mom will be here in a minute to bring you your breakfast.”
“you too, buy something that would satisfy your stomach on your way to school. okay?” sohye reminded.
“of course, and anything else?” kris asked. sohye smirked and waved at her.
“tell kyulkyung eonni i said hi.” she said making kris smirked as well. she gave her a thumbs up and walked out of her ward, making her way to school.
kris walked towards her school with straight, serious face as she heads to her classroom, throwing her bag on her desk making yeonseo and jinyoung got startled.
“you scared me kris, what's wrong?” yeonseo asked worriedly as kris looked at her with a small smile.
“did you enjoy your date with woojin yesterday?” she asked her making yeonseo blushed upon the question. jinyoung was intrigued as well that he listened to the conversation and also to know why kris is acting like that.
“i did.” yeonseo chuckled. “he was being sweet.” she added as kris nodded.
“that's good to hear that you're fine,” she sighed. “but my cousin isn't.” she murmured the last sentence. yeonseo wasn't numb to pretend that she didn't heard that. it was all crystal clear, every single word.
“is she okay?” yeonseo asked. kris sat down on her desk and shook her head.
“she's not.” she answered.
“i'm sorry to hear that.” kris just smirked.
“it's not your fault anyways, she was just in love that she allowed herself to be tricked.” kris chuckled despite of her tears. jinyoung got worried.
“ya, you already cried last night, not right now too.” he said butting into the conversation. yeonseo looked at him as jinyoung glanced at her as well. “yeonseo, you don't know kris too much.”
yeonseo nodded as she went to give kris a hug to comfort her. it was suppose to be jinyoung's job but yeonseo got her first. kris didn't hug yeonseo back, instead, she pushed her lightly and wiped her tears.
“i'm sorry yeonseo but i can't talk to you right now, where the heck is kyulkyung?” kris asked as she jumped off of her desk and went out of the classroom. both jinyoung and yeonseo ran out as well, following the girl.
meanwhile, kyulkyung was talking to woojin on the open field of the school. kris saw them by the open window of the second floor and hurriedly ran down. jinyoung kept following kris and yeonseo stopped to look what was happening through the window. she watched how woojin and kyulkyung talk back to each other as if they're arguing.
