several days have passed, sohye had herself admitted to the hospital. she knows what's gonna happen to her now and kris is trying to be strong as well as her mother. kris' routine changed. she would go straight to the hospital after class and made herself hate kyulkyung for forcing woojin to date sohye.
meanwhile, yeonseo had herself thinking about what's gonna happen to sohye since she is very worried about the girl.
she's currently inside the café waiting for jihoon. she's sitting on her usual spot as woojin saw her being lonely and staring somewhere from afar, with her chin rested on her hand.
“hey, are you alright?” woojin asked as she snapped out of her thoughts and looked at the girl. he sat down beside her as she sighed.
“yeah, just waiting for jihoon.” she said.
“jihoon is still working on your drink,” woojin replied. “is this about sohye?” he asked as she sighed heavily again, and gave him a sad nod. woojin pulled her closer to him as he gave her a side hug.
“don't worry too much everything will be fine.” he said. yeonseo leaned her head on his shoulder as woojin patted her head. “is there something you want me to do to ease your —”
“no, i just wanna stay here.” she said giving him a small smile.
“as you wish..” and with that he kissed the crown of her head, that's when jihoon arrived with yeonseo's usual coffee.
“damn this, jinyoung can't come to work today.” jihoon complained as he put the coffee down on the table making yeonseo and woojin break their lovey dovey moment. “here's your coffee madame.” he added gesturing at yeonseo.
“thanks jihoon, where's jinyoung?” yeonseo asked taking the cup of coffee.
“probably tailing his girl, you know kris has a new routine now. she goes to the hospital every now and then.” jihoon said.
“she loves sohye so much though.” woojin added. “and she doesn't want me to visit her in the hospital.” he grumbled.
“try to understand kris for now woojin, you made a mistake as well.” jihoon scolded him.
“it's not my fault. i was forced.” woojin complained.
“well she has a reason to blame you actually, you and kyulkyung sunbaenim are the ones at fault.” jihoon argued. “and of course, you shouldn't have courted her in the first place.”
“ya, jihoon don't blame everything to woojin.” yeonseo defended making jihoon smirked.
“i am not blaming him, he just did something really wrong.” and with that jihoon left leaving woojin and yeonseo dumbfounded. yeonseo gave woojin a small smile and sighed.
“i'm sorry about him.” she said.
“it's okay, he's right anyways.” woojin said sadly. “i gotta go work, will you wait for me?” he asked with a sweet smile plastered on his face.
