yeonseo stood up the moment she saw how mrs. kim slapped kyulkyung. jinyoung once again fainted then, there's kris who caught him dramatically.
kris sighed, “do you really need to faint every time someone slaps your crush?”
“how dare you show up your face in her funeral, you didn't even visit her in the hospital.” mrs. kim scolded her. woojin rushed to the two ladies and calm mrs. kim down.
“mrs. kim sohye's watching.” woojin said as mrs. kim sighed heavily.
“my sohye deserves to have a happy ending, even if she's suffering pain physically, she shouldn't be hurt emotionally because of you.” mrs. kim said with tears flowing from her eyes. kyulkyung was getting emotional as well, kris didn't mind jinyoung's body on the floor and went to grab kyulkyung's arm.
“i wanna talk to you.” she said. “follow me.” she added with her poker face and left the hall.
mrs. kim was comforted by guanlin and daehwi by the next few minutes, jihoon and woojin had to carry jinyoung's unconscious body to put it on a bench while yeonseo stalked both kyulkyung and kris.
meanwhile, she found them standing near a big cheery blossom tree and there she hid herself behind a door. they weren't that far for her to hear every single word of their conversation, kris looks really lifeless and kyulkyung stayed put.
“it looks like sohye stayed for almost two weeks in the hospital, it such a long time before she left but none of those days that i saw your face.” kris told her. “where have you been, kyulkyung eonni?”
“to think that you'll push me away if i came.” kyulkyung smirked as kris sighed heavily.
“you know what, i was gonna forgive about what you did to her in case that you'll visit her there but seeing you here in this funeral without saying goodbye to her hurts me.” she said. kyulkyung looked at her with pity and realization how much she have hurt sohye, including kris and woojin.
“i'm sorry.” she said plainly. kris glared at her.
“you don't have to be sincere, i don't forgive you but i think sohye eonni will. enjoy yourself inside.” kris added and was about to leave her behind when she remembered something. “and i don't want to be mean but, jinyoung's mine and stop making him faint.”
“you don't have to say it to my face but sohye deserves to be happy before she leaves.” kyulkyung butted in but kris turned around and looked at her.
“you always say the same thing, you don't know how much she suffered because of you. because of your stupid plan, her fate didn't go very well,” and with that, kris really left her dumbfounded. kyulkyung leaned on the tree and cupped her mouth, crying.
“i'm sorry sohye,” she said. “i guess i was too late.”
yeonseo saw kris entered the hall and there she hid herself even more, and when she realized that she's already far away. she went out and found kyulkyung wiping her tears as she left the place, shrugging the strap of her sling bag. she hurriedly followed her and ran, “kyulkyung eonni!”
