Despair.
That look of despair on their face when the doctor announced that he had amnesia. That he might not be able to completely regain his memory.
Then came the waterworks.
Did he know this person? Perhaps he did, but he just doesn't remember.
"Don't cry..." he managed a weak whisper to the figure beside him. They shook their head as they continued sobbing beside him.
"I'll regain my memory... I'll battle this amnesia and win. D-don't worry..." Jin barely managed as he felt fatigue take over him again, this time alongside a headache. The pain so dull and slow but excruciatingly agonizing, it drove him insane. Jin's eyebrows creased as he tried to ignore the pain, however to no avail as the pain became more and more prominent. He began to toss and turn in his bed.
"Jin! Hold on tight, I'll call the doctor—," the strangely familiar voice said as they reached over and pressed a button behind his bed. Not being able to handle the pain that only continued to grow, a small moan escapes his delicate, pale lips.
"It hurts... so much..." he breathed.
"Shh. They're coming. Hang in there," they said as they held on to his hand. Jin felt a sudden rush of warmth through his body, and it temporarily distracted him from his headache.
It was only a few moments later when the pain attacked him again, and his consciousness began slipping away as he heard the door barge open.
"Seokjin!"
