In the beginning there was only darkness. But within that darkness there was only chaos and fear. The humans lived in fear and slavery. No happiness. No love. Nothing but fear and chaos. These were the years when the demons ruled the earth. Where parents would rather cut their own children's throat just so they didn't have to feel afraid. In some villages people would fight back against the demons or make deals with them so they didn't have to live in the darkness. But in the village known as 'nytt håp' the people there would prey to their ancestors who would give protection and great health.
In nytt håp, there was about 50 people who lived there who all practiced in healing and communication with their dead ones. But when every child came to the age of ten, they would have a massive ceremony where they summon their spirit animal where they then learn their true purpose. With the spirits and ancestors the village had a lot of protection which kept everyone safe.
With all the other villages under the influence or afraid of the demons, the people of nytt håp always stayed focused and ready for any attack. Even though they weren't a big village or had strong fighters they always were ready for an attack.
