"Why.. Why do we keep listening to the ancestors. All what they do is to benefit themselves... first the sacrificed oskar now they've taken Gramora, whose next!" Leif said with rage as he pushes a nearby oak tree. "They need to pay for this... I'm sick of listening to them... so much for their wisdom and guidance..." Anya cried as laid on her side with tears pouring down her face. "We can be speaking like this." Rebekah said we a sense of fear in her voice. "Why not... They just keep taking and taking and never giving back." Leif replies as his voice gets loader with every word. "Leif calm down." Said cylus as he rushes over to Leif. "We need to be careful with what we say... The ancestors are always listening." Calmly said cylus as he pushes his hand through Leif hair, staring at his face. "I'm sick of losing everyone... it was like we were our own little family... and now... now it's like someone has taken everything away from us." Leif said as he loosened his tone and allowed the tears to start pouring down his face. "It's ok... well it's not but you get what I mean... Were going to get through this, one way or another." Said rebekah as she leans down to help Anya rise to her feet. "We need to get back home and inform the village... especially Gramoras parents." Rebekah said as she slowly got Anya up on her feet.
When the four got back to the village and informed everyone of what had happened, the elders had turned on the four. Screaming at them, "you monsters." "You abominations!" "Leave this village and don't come back!" The villagers all start to riot, trying to force the four out of the village. "Accioto!" Rebekah screamed causing the sky to start shooting down hail over the villagers. "You better run!" One of the villagers yelled as he pulled out his sword. The four ran for it, they ran to cylus' hut where he had his father's arsenal. Cylus pushed open the door scaring his mother. "Cylus what is the meaning of this... Why are you in such a hurry?" His mother said as he dropped to the floor and threw up the wooden chest. "The village is coming after us because we use dark magic which got rid of all the demons around the world." Rebekah replied to cylus mothers question because cylus took no notice of his mother. "But isn't that a good thing though?" His mother asked trying to get her son's attention. "Well yes but because we did the spell, we lost Varg because he turned against us and teamed up with the demons to try and kill us... and then... well..." rebekah muttered as cylus collected enough weapon to protect the four. "Well what? Speak up girl!" Cylus' mother command with confusion in her voice. "Gramora was sacrificed by the ancestors and there was nothing we could do about it because the ancestors are selfish cunts!" Leif answered for rebekah as she kept stuttering. Cylus then got up and crashed over to the food storage. "Mama come with us and we'll protect you." Cylus said as he took some apples and salted venison from the food storage. "I... I... I can't cylus, the village needs me im the high healer now." His mother replied with sadness. "Fine then... forget that you ever had a son then!" Cylus yelled. "Please my dear boy don't be like that!" His mother cried as walked over to her son. "J ust forget about me, because clearly this village is more important then family, just look how the other parents looked at their kids just now, trying to murder them... it bloody disgusting!" Cylus yelled into his mother's face. "Baby please... don't go... stay we can work this out!" She cried as she fell into him. He then looked into depths of her eyes and said "im no longer your son, forget I ever existed... I was just a stone baby... dead before I was born... you never had a son... you are a lonely widow with no sense of love in the world." He said. And with those word he was able to compel his mother to forget he was ever born. "I never had a son." His mother whispered to herself. "Who... Who are you?" His mother asked with a face full of confusion. "Exactly like that!" Cylus said as he pushed past his mother with a sack of food and a bag of weapons. "Where do you think your going with my husband's weapons?" She yelled as she picked up a knife that was on the bench beside her. "These are our weapons now." Cylus replied as he kept walking towards the huts entry way. "Raiders are here! Raiders are here!" She screams. "Cylus what is she doing?" Leif asks as the woman keeps screaming. "I think you have whipped away her memory." Said Anya with curiosity. "It seems so." Cylus replies with a cunning tone. "Slepus!" Anya said as she clicked her fingers. The screaming woman then falls to the ground and is a sound asleep. "That's a nifty trick Anya." Leif said as all four of them started rushing out the door. "Yeah a came up with it so I could get out of the hut more often." Anya replied. All four left the hut and ran for the farm to got to the stable and steal some horses. They were able to get into the stable without being spotted but that could be said for when they were leaving. "Hey give me back my horses you abominations!" A villager yelled as he pulled out an arrow and shot it through his bow. "Motas!" Anya screamed as she rode the horse away from the villager, the spell sent the man flying across the ground. "Your full of a lot of little tricks today aren't you?" Leif said jokingly to Anya as the four rode out towards to down face of the mountain. "Haha... I guess so!" She replied laughing as the left the village.
The four kept traveling for days until the horses would trier out. They made sure they would make it as far away from the village as possible. But no matter what they could never out run the ancestors.
