"Your students are getting more 'used' in going to detention as long as they can do whatever they want." The Principal started knowing that he just sent another group of students from Baldi's class to detention. Baldi shrugged it off while giving The Principal a low chuckle. Baldi knew the moment his students stepped off his classroom or they were dismissed, they were no longer under his supervision or problems. "You've been awfully 'nice' these past few days. Is there something you're excited or happy about?" The Principal asked the bald man curiously. Baldi only gave him a cold laugh as he crossed his arms.
"Those brats are not my problems anymore the moment they are dismissed out of my class." Baldi spoke. The Principal earning a slight glare from the math teacher. Even though Baldi can sometimes be a handful and short-tempered he was one of The Principal's best teacher. The Principal would often hang out with the math teacher even though Baldi would always decline, The Principal won't take a 'no' for an answer. The Principal usually is the only who can even at least talk to Baldi other than that one can simply talk about math with Baldi though the students would rather not dare to even ask a question. The Principal saw Baldi as a friend of his although they hardly talk with each other but, The Principal won't give up still. "You still haven't answered my question though." The Principal spoke as monotoned as ever.
Baldi didn't really have any reason for him to be all happy and excited, apart from the fact that he's really in a good mood whenever he sees The Principal, or set aside the fact that another day has passed. He won't tell him that though. Oh how the bald man was oblivious of his feelings towards The Principal. 'Get yourself together, Baldi. You can't be falling for that boring Principal. And most especially you're not gay. You're straight! straight like that ruler of yours.' Baldi shook that thought off, a slight tint of pink dusted his cheeks lightly. 'Baldi, ignore those dirty thoughts. No dirty thoughts.' Baldi kept repeating the same words in his head and completely ignored the fact that The Principal was still waiting for his answer. The Principal noticed Baldi's slightly changed expression and only one possible reason crossed The Principal's mind.
"If i would guess judging from your reaction it looks like it's because of a certain person, hm? If you don't mind me asking who's the lucky girl?" As soon as Baldi heard those words he was itching to slap the Principal's ass and say 'It's not a woman I'm into! You're such an idiot.' As much as he wanted to say it he had to maintain his reputation of course, he kept telling other people and to himself that he was 'straight'. Back in the past few years ago he was always hooked up in girls. But now? Boy did Baldi know that he had already fallen for The Principal. Baldi snapped back to reality and chuckled dryly as he faced The Principal. "No. It's not about that, nor it is even like that. I'm just in a good mood today. That's all." Baldi replied shortly as he picked up all the files from his desk and stood up from his seat.
The Principal suddenly felt relieved the moment he heard that Baldi didn't like a particular person just yet. Why? Oh The Principal would never admit it as well that he liked the said math teacher. 'Even though he still doesn't like a certain person, He'd never like me back considering he's not even into men.' The Principal thought as he watched Baldi pick up the last few files from his desk and started to make his way outside.
"Well that's good to hear then. It's not everyday i see our best math teacher to be in a good mood today." The Principal spoke softly, his voice still lacking of emotion, but Baldi knew that The Principal was quite happy. In Baldi's perspective that is.
"If you don't mind, would you like to go grab a light meal if you have any free time today? and of course if it's okay with you." The Principal asked the bald man right before he could leave from his shift. It was normal for Baldi to be asked the same question again though he couldn't get the thought off that The Principal was doing it on purpose. Baldi stopped for a minute while eyeing The Principal. Normally Baldi would reply with a 'I'm busy', 'No, thanks.' or 'Sure, right after i finish my work.'
"That's the fourth time you asked me this week, Principal. Is this like a date or something?" Baldi spoke coldly which made The Principal caught off guard by his sudden question. "I'm kidding." Baldi spoke afterwards with a slight laugh. The Principal nodded slightly as he leaned by the wall, his arms crossed. "Don't worry about it. It's on me." The Principal snickered as he gestured outside. "I'll be waiting outside the school. Take your time Mr. Baldi. And you're right this isn't a date or anything. I'm just simply asking if you would like to go grab a light meal. Afterall we're just friends."
