I stood there in the doorway, is this really mine? I mean..... Jesus. It was huge. Even my expectations didn't rise to this level, I was expecting a big room, with a decent be and maybe some nice candles but this?.... only one word could describe what I was seeing right now...... OMG.......
The room felt masculine, too masculine maybe, hmmm..... maybe if I got some flowers or frilly cushions. I laughed to myself maybe not. I didn't want to change a thing, it smelt like pine needles, and raw earth, it was strong wrapping around me like a bear hug, I walk towards the bed and throw myself down, the sheets felt cool and silky and smelt delicious.
Just then a thought occurred to me.... was... is this Chase's room? Does he sleep here too? I ponder a moment before hauling myself off of the sinking cloud bed, I head towards a dark oak door on the other side of the room, and slowly peek in, my jaw hits the floor as I take in the beautiful bathroom, the tub was oval in shape and deep, on opposite sides of the room was his and hers sinks, the cabinets were dark wood and the floor a cream polished marble. Where the bath was were cream and brown mosaic tiles and dark wooden shutters closed over the bathroom window, letting in a little light left from the sky.
Two towels lay before the bath, their shapes made up of two white swans. The bath lay in the middle of an almost Greek alcove. And lamps hung from the walls beside the mirrors above the sinks. I couldn't wait to take a luxurious bubble bath in that as soon as I had unpacked. I inched my way slowly inside the room. I ran my fingers along the marble countertops, it felt cold and smooth, the marble design intertwining with the dark wood. It was clean and also screamed of man. There was no feminine products well no products at all.
I start opening the cupboards, finding the usual stuff on the left hand side of the room, this must be his side. It held male razors, shaving cream, male soap, blue bath sponges, aftershave, and deodorant. I then went to the other side and saw female products, female razors, soap, bubble bath, bath bombs, rose petals, a loofah, pink bath sponges, and what looked like an egg but had a sort of cheese grater on one side.
I didn't even know what that was, but I got excited to think about testing it out later, I then went to a tall cupboard that had slats in it. Opening it I saw a rainbow of nearly folded towels, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, pink, purple, gold, silver, brown and even cream and white. They were stacked from top to bottom, I were too immersed in checking out the towels that i didn't even notice someone staring at me from behind.
"Have you got a kink for towels or something? Or have you never seen a towel before? You certainly look like you've never had a bath before, and by the way.... you stink!" I whirl around, I saw the most handsome man I had ever seen standing in front of me, shirtless.
I inspect his upper body, tattoos littered his torso and muscular arms. A little sprinkling of chest hair climbed across his chest, his neck was thick and strong, his jaw was square and just a hint of stubble covered it, his cheekbones were chiselled and high, his nose was thick too but it suited his face. His eyes I noticed almost straight away, they were deep forest green with hints of brown, they were cold and narrowed looking at me as if I had just killed his dog or something.
"I actually usually have a bath every night, thank you very much for your concern and yes I have seen towels before, I just didn't realise that there would be so many and in so many colours, and no!.... I don't have a kink for towels, my names is summer Andrews and what just in the hell are you doing in my bathroom?" I replied sarcastically lifting my head high in the air.
He arched a brow at me and his eyes travelled the length of me before answering, "well.... that's good to know, at least I won't have to be worried about you getting off on my towels, and to your question of why I am stood in your bathroom..... my names is Chase Black and your stood in MY bathroom...." he finished with a smirk on his face.
And all I could do was stare at him.... in shock. My first thought was 'oh shit'.
