Tana M, a Youtuber, got kicked out of Vidcon, an event for youtubers to meet their fans. So, out of revenge she was going to make an event called Tanacon, on the exact same day of Vidcon.
At the EXACT. SAME. TIME.
ACROSS THE FREAKING STREET FROM VIDCON.
Out of revenge, she made her tickets free, except V.I.P. Tickets, $67. She promised a gift bag for everyone coming quadruple the worth of the ticket. She promised food ,drinks,and lots of Fun.
Youtuber Shane Dawson, Actress Bella Thorne, James Charles, and many others were supposed to be coming.
Well, as the day came 5,000 people showed up, like planned. 4,000 people had to wait outside, because the building only held 1,000 people. It was extremely hot and people got THIRD DEGREE BURNS. So many people got hurt and dehydrated.
There was no water.
No food.
The gift bag was worth about 3dollars.
It had a condom (a tanacondom lmao)
A bracelet (10cents off of Amazon)
A few cards (worth nothing)
And a drawstring bag 1.00
And some other crap I can't remember.
WTF TANA.
And guess what?
It got shut down. She said "15,000 PEOPLE SHOWED UP."
It has been proven that was a huge lie.
She said because so many of those people didn't have tickets, they had to shut down the whole thing.
People spent thousands of dollars to fly there, at least they'd get a refund.
WRONGGGGGG
NONE OF THEM GOT A REFUND. WTF TANA?
I feel so bad for the 5,00 people that showed up. They had been tricked and Tana, whoever was running it, someone needs to take care of this.
