Chapter 7: I Prefer Handsome

{this takes place after they went back in time and hook traded his ship. This is just my version of what would happen if Neal didn't die}

Neal's POV

Hook is really starting to piss me off. He is stealing everything I love! I'm pretty sure I'm whining like a little kid right now but I don't care. "Could you teach me how to sail?!" Henry asked excitedly.

Hook smiled wistfully "I'd love to lad but I can't." He sighed.

He looked saddened "Wha-why not?"

I started getting jealous of Hook. This was supposed to be my day with Henry and now all Henry cares about is Hook. "Henry we should get going we don't want to bother Hook." I tried getting him away.

"It's no problem really! I love this little lad!" He smirked.

Henry smiled widely. "I love you too Hook!...as like a dad...or something... not like love love, like in love...you know what I'm saying?"

I laughed slightly at Henry's response but my smile quickly faded. Henry has never told me he loves me.

"So why can't you teach me to sail?" Henry questioned.

Hook sighed. "Because I don't have a ship to sail with..." I was surprised.

"What happened to the Jolly Rodger?" I asked.

"I traded it." I was shocked and Henry gasped.

"What?! Why?!" Henry yelled.

"Yeah hook I thought you loved that ship more than anything." I said still in shock.

"Calm down lad." He smiled at Henry. "I traded my ship to save you...and your mom." I thought I might faint.

How am I supposed to compete with someone who traded his most valuable possession for my girlfriend?! "Ugh! I'm losing Emma to a good for nothing pirate!" I didn't realize I said that out loud until everyone at granny's looked at me including hook and Henry. "I'm going home. Henry can stay with you, he obviously likes you better" I started to walk off. "Just...keep him safe and bring him home before 10" I sighed and left.

•••Killian's POV•••

I felt really bad. I sat in silence for a little bit after Neal left. Did he really think I was a good for nothing pirate? I had a feeling it was true but it still stung. Was I trying to steal Emma? Of course I wanted you be with Emma but I'd never try and get in between them. "Henry, I love you and I want to spend time with you but I want you to go find your dad and tell him how much you love him okay?"

Henry smiled. "Okay, but you have to take me out for ice cream."

I laughed. "I have no idea what that is but okay!" Henry ran off and I grabbed my cell phone which I was still learning how to use. It takes skill to text with one hand and a hook. I dialed Emma's number.

~~~Emma's POV~~~

I was still crying with my dad when my phone rang I answered and put it on speaker. "Hey beautiful." it was Killian. I smiled hearing his voice.

"Awwww! You think I'm beautiful?! Thanks Hook! But I prefer handsome." Charming said. I laughed.

"Sorry Killian I forgot that I put it on speaker." I laughed.

He sounded embarrassed. "That was meant for you..." Charming pretended to be offended. "Listen love, I think you should call Neal or go see him. He's convinced you're starting to fall for me and he seems depressed." I felt bad.

"Why are you telling her this. You like her so isn't it to your advantage if your competition thinks she likes you?" Charming questioned. I smacked him gently.

"Neal isn't my competition, he is Emma's boyfriend." It sounded like it hurt him to say that. "I love Emma...and I think I always will...but I'm not going to try and tear them apart. It's not fair to Neal, it's not fair to Henry, and it's not fair to Emma. I'd never do anything to hurt her. I love you Emma." He sighed. "Now go talk to your boyfriend, he's worried about you." He hung up and I sighed. He loves me? He just made things 10x harder.

===Charming's POV===

I was honestly impressed. Hook seemed to have a perfect answer. Maybe he wasn't as bad as I thought he was. Maybe he's more than just a pirate. He's nice, he's caring, he's strong, he cute...wait where did that come from?!

I bet you didn't expect a little charming hook at the end. Don't worry that was just for fun because I love Josh and Colin's bromance. I won't make charming interfere unless I get suggestions to do otherwise.

Did ya see I threw in a little tfios "okay? Okay." With Hook and Henry? Captain cobra! Ok seriously. This fandom ships everybody with each other. I heard someone trying to ship snow and Emma like no! Stop it!
