Chapter 23

Killian's POV

"Emma was shot by a jealous little...." I stopped myself and took a deep breath. "Emma was injured and she passed out. When she woke up she was healed and she couldn't remember anything or anybody but me." I explained to Mr. Gold.

He nodded. "It seems like Emma cast a protection spell on herself."

"A protection spell?" I asked curiously.

"Yes. When Emma was shot she automatically cast a spell on herself. In doing the spell she accidentally erased all memory of everyone and everything but the last person she saw. You."

"How do we get her memories back?" I asked.

Rumple sighed. "Come on Killian this thing has happened over 50 thousand times! If you truly love her then all that you have to do is kiss her. True love in our town is like duck tape!"

I smiled. "Emma?" I looked at her and pulled her close to me.

Emma smiled and pressed her lips against mine passionately. After a while we pulled away smiling widely at each other. "I remember."

"Good." I smiled and kissed her softly again.

I hugged her tightly. "I love you Killian Jones."

"I love you too Emma."

"Ummm....Killian?" It was Rumple.

"Yes?" I looked at him.

"I wanted to say that I'm sorry for everything that my son did. I'm glad you're with Emma. Here..." He took something out of one of the cabinets. It was a hand. "I heard that you decided not to be a pirate anymore. So if you want you can have your hand back."

I took it from him. "Uhhh...so what do I do with this?"

"You have to let me put it back on you first" he said taking the hand back.

I looked at Emma. "Would you like me better if I had two hands?"

She smiled softly. "I love you just the way you are Killian, but it'd be nice if you had both of your hands and we could do more 'coupley things'" I smiled.

Killian smirked. "Coupley things?"

~~~Emma's POV~~~

"Ya. We could dance, just like we did in the Enchanted Forest. We can hold hands on the beach, and cuddle easily..." I smiled.

"That sounds nice. Ok Rumple do it." Killian took off his hook and held still.

I looked at him. "What's wrong?"

He looked embarrassed. "I-it's just....no one has seen my arm without the brace on it...it's not very attractive."

I smiled sympathetically. "Killian, you don't have to be ashamed. I fell in love with you, with the way you love me unconditionally. The way you're always there for me. I'm so madly in love with you and I don't care what you look like.

Killian smiled back at me and took the brace off. Rumple set the hand next to his stub. I held Killian's other hand tightly as Rumple waved his hand over Killian's. When Rumple moved away Killians hand was back.

He smiled widely and wiggled his fingers. "So...what do you think Swan?"
