It began as these things tend to; with two people running into each other in the hallway, literally.

He cried out in alarm as he realized he was falling to the ground, more out of surprise than fear. He didn't hit the ground very hard but the contents of his unzipped backpack spilled everywhere. He dared a quick glance to see if anyone was watching and sighed silently in relief when he saw no one was.

He looked up as he heard a soft groan. His eyes landed on a girl. She had golden hair that fell down past her shoulders and a simple blue dress. He caught himself staring and, blushed slightly with embarrassment. Trying to regain his composure he stood up and walked over to the girl. "Are you alright?" he asked.

"Huh? Yeah," she said quietly, rubbing her head.

"Sorry I ran into you, I guess I wasn't watching where I was going." He smiled and held out his hand to help her up. His cheeks reddened slightly as she grabbed his hand. It was warm and soft. As she stood up, he realized he hadn't seen her around before. It wasn't like he was very popular but he knew a lot of people and he found it strange he had never seen this girl before. How could someone not notice her? he wondered. She's so... Beautiful. He couldn't think of a better word to describe her at the moment.

"Sorry to bother you," she said in the same quiet voice interrupting his thoughts.

"What? No! You're fine! It was my stupid fault for running into you in the first place." She gave him a shy smile and walked away. He realized too late that she was walking away and took a couple of steps forward before realizing it was pointless to try and catch up to her. He gathered up his things which were strewn about the hallway and headed to class.

It was a long weekend. Because of a holiday, the school was out for three days instead of the usual two. He would normally read or perhaps if he was luch, he would find some friends and go roam around the City. But for some reason he couldn't get the girl out of his mind. There was just something about her... He couldn't figure out if it was perhaps he had never seen her before or that she was beautiful. The thing that killed him the most was that he had no idea whatsoever what her name was.

By the time he went back to school, he felt like he was going mad thinking about her. That day at lunch, he roamed the halls hoping for a glimpse of her, but to no avail. This only made his anxiety worse. After school he roamed the City hoping to see her somewhere, anywhere, but again, she was nowhere to be seen.

Damnit! he thought. What if she moved away? I will never see her again! He tried to push the thoughts of the girl away but found this more impossible than trying to drain a lake. Everyday instead of spending lunch with his friends, he would search for the mysterious girl whose name he did not know and whose name he had no hope of finding. Trying to find her was like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

This is a multi part story, i will continue it. Sorry if it is a bit confusing, i havent figured out names for the characters yet. Sorry.
