Snow and Emma were gushing over Ruby and kind of driving her insane with how sickly sweet all of their words were. They had good intentions, but they were kind of overdoing it. Ruby was honestly kind of ready to just get the wedding over with so she could start calling Dorothy her wife and catch straight people everywhere off guard. Yeah, that was the dream life.

Meanwhile, Zelena and Belle were putting flowers in Dorothy's hair while Regina read over Dorothy's wedding vows to make sure everything sounded okay.

"I just changed a couple words and added a comma, nothing too major," Regina said as she handed Dorothy the piece of paper back. "Feel free to completely ignore my changes, I won't be offended."

"I'll probably keep them," Dorothy replied. "Thanks for reading it over."

"No problem!"

"I wonder how the others are doing?" Belle mused. She took a step back from Dorothy. "Alright, I think you're good."

Zelena nodded in agreement. "Ruby's gonna melt when she sees you."

Dorothy shot a glare at Zelena. "Was that supposed to be a pun?"

Zelena just shrugged.

The bridesmaids' dresses were all the same style, but were colored according to who they would be walking down the aisle with. Emma and Regina were wearing red dresses, Lily and Ashley were wearing orange, Snow and Tink were wearing yellow, Zelena and Belle were wearing green, and Mulan and Merida were wearing blue. Violet was the flower girl and she was wearing a purple dress. Roland was the ring bearer and he was wearing a purple tie. Both Granny and Auntie Em were wearing light pink dresses, though they would be walking down with one of the brides; Granny and Ruby at the beginning and Auntie Em and Dorothy after Violet and Roland. All of the colors together created a rainbow to go along side Ruby and Dorothy, who were both wearing white dresses of different styles.

When Dorothy stepped into the aisle, Ruby's breath caught in her throat. She had a pastel rainbow of flowers in her hair and the bouquet of pink roses in her hands was tied together with a ribbon that was the colors of the lesbian pride flag. She looked beautiful.

Dorothy couldn't stop smiling. Back in Kansas, she never thought she'd be able to have a big, official, wedding and invite all of her friends and family. She didn't think she'd ever have enough friends or family to invite. And she didn't think getting married would ever be legal for her. Even after she'd left to go back to Oz, she figured she'd have to keep her sexuality a secret. Thankfully, that hadn't been the case. Even so, the fact that she was actually getting married, legally and officially, was almost too amazing to believe.

The wedding vows were a blur. Dorothy decided to go ahead and make the changes Regina had suggested (they were good suggestions) and then Archie pronounced them wife and wife and saying "You may kiss the bride." Dorothy didn't know if he was talking to her or Ruby, but it didn't really matter. They both leaned in and kissed. Dorothy heard cheers from the audience and that warmed her heart even more.

When the two broke apart, Ruby rested her forehead against Dorothy's. "So, how does it feel to have a wife?"

Dorothy grinned. "Pretty great. Pretty gay."

"I feel the same way."

Emma leaned her head on Regina's shoulder as the two watched Ruby and Dorothy dance for the first time as a married couple. As expected, they chose a Hayley Kiyoko song.
