Dear Journal,

Today is May 23, 2017

Last day of school, yes I'm pumped because it's the last day,  but it's also kind of upsetting. I'm moving to Australia in a week.... yes a small town girl from Ohio is moving to the big city of Sydney.

I'm going to miss everything here. I'm definitely going to miss Leo and Sage the most- my best friends in the whole world. I'm not going to be able to see them all summer and all school year it's going to suck, even more with the time difference.

Yes, there's FaceTime and texting, but it's not the same as being with your best friends everyday! Ugh, it's going to kill me. It's going to be a fresh start, which is good I guess. Well, at least that's what the positive side of me is saying. The negative is saying this is going to fucking suck and I'm going to hate it, but let's stop being depressed and shit and get pumped from the last day of school.

Now that this is the last week that I'm going to spend with my best friends, I might as well make the most of it, right?
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

I stopped writing in my journal and decided to get up and get ready for school. I straightened my dirty blonde hair and threw on my Lion king crop top with my high waisted black shorts and my all black vans, and no make up. Now, I have a reasoning to this, and it's quite simple. It's because there's literally no one that I'm trying to impress, so I said fuck it. I went downstairs, grabbed a granola bar and my book bag, and went to my car, heading to school. I first stopped at Starbucks to get Leo, Sage, and I some drinks.

••••

I parked all the way in the back of the parking lot so it's easier to get out or skip, whichever I decide. After a long ass walk, I made it to the cafeteria. Our school is super weird if I'm being honest. We have glass everywhere. Half the walls in the school are glass and I literally see no point to it. The whole entire wall is actually glass, which faces the courtyard and lets in a lot of natural light. An idea that is annoying to anyone like me, who is most definitely not a morning person.

Once I actually enter, having to struggle to squeeze through all the assholes in my school to get inside. Not one person tried helping and opening the door for me. Don't even tell me chivalry isn't dead- because it is.

Next thing I see is Leo running to me, taking her drink as Sage walks up, takes her own and says thank you.

"You're welcome Leo," I said sarcastically, my eyebrow raising up at the small brunette like she was rather insane.

"Bitch, you owe me this! I don't know what for, but you owe me." She snapped back as she continues to drink the addicting drink. Leo actually probably has more rage than I do in the morning if she doesn't have her coffee. She's like the fucking Cookie Monster. But with coffee.

I love my friends more than anything. We aren't popular, but we know everyone. Not everyone likes us, but do we give a shit? No. Not at all.

"So it's the last day- wanna skip?" I asked.

"Um fuck yeah." Leo says, looking at me like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "We're literally either just gonna fuck around in class all day, or watch some dumbass movie."

"Uhhh... idk we actually have to go to class." Sage says, rather shy and opposed to the idea.

"Come on! Don't be a dickhead and let's go. I will drive so y'all don't get caught with your cars not being here, and it's my last week in the United States. It's not like they're gonna kick me out of school." I reasoned, begging because Sage never skips. I just want her to skip me for once. Once people!

"Ugh fine but if mom asked, I'm blaming you." She finally gives in, looking up at the sky like she was going to regret this decision.

"FUCK YES!" I yell a little too loud, pumping my arms. Oh well.

Walking out of the school to my car, both Sage and I had to listen as Leo complains that I parked way to far back and that she wanted to drive because she was the "better driver". This was in fact a lie. She was a terrifying driver. I just decide to ignore her bitchy attitude until her coffee kicks in.

"Where to?"

"Your house." They say at the same time, both for different reasons. Leo mostly loves the idea there's always food at my house, while Sage wants to stay as far away from her house as possible to avoid getting caught.

"Okay then you guys have to help me pack my room a little." I tried reasoning.

"Um no bitch, I'm going to get food." Sage whines, pulling out the money she had.

Leo just shrugs, suddenly giving the both of us rather mischievous smile, rubbing her hands together. I can practically see the horns coming out of her head when she does that shit. "You can eat at her house and help me raid her kitchen."

"Oh no." I groaned, thinking of how all my food was going to be gone after today.

After that, off to my house we go, singing and dancing to a random song that we all knew.

God, I love my friends.
